Cry of Fear is a psychological single-player and co-op horror game set in a deserted town filled with horrific creatures and nightmarish delusions. You play as a young man desperately searching for answers in the cold Scandinavian night, finding his way through the city as he slowly descends into madness.

To be honest, I don’t understand at all why people are even remotely interested in this game. And it’s not even a game—it’s just a Half-Life mod. It starts off well, but you quickly realize just how many problems the game has. Everything is poorly designed: from the UI and how you interact with it to the enemies, the inventory, and how you interact with the environment. The developer is so carried away that in some messages saying a door won’t open, he puts a period at the end of the sentence, but in others he doesn’t. I see that there are still relatively recent updates for the game, so I really don’t understand why the developer isn’t trying to finish his unfinished game. Playing something like this in the summer of 2126 is madness. Give it a pass—you won’t be missing out on anything. I’ve had enough of wandering through corridors the size of an ant hill, of how easy it is to get killed, of the hordes of enemies, and of locked doors you can’t open—until you watch a YouTube walkthrough asking, “Where do I find the key to the door?” because you can only spot anything lying on the floor with a microscope. It’s trash.

Игра очень крутая, но какой же там поломанный онлайн......
Honestly an amazing game, I’m absolutely hooked. The gameplay, graphics, and storyline literally everything is perfect for me. If you're unsure about trying the game out, you should definitely give it a try. Easily the best free game on Steam, and honestly my favorite game on steam so far.
