Crusade of Deitra

Crusade of Deitra is a broken 2D retro pixel JRPG. It's hard to say if this is an RPG Maker asset flip/construction kit job, or Smile RPG Builder or any of those other construction kits, because the developer blanked the game manifest. With no files to check, we can't be sure. It's unclear why the developer blanked the manifest, but this isn't something that happens accidentally. Another thing that doesn't happen accidentally is when developers leave a game with a blanked manifest on sale on Steam, knowing that it's broken. With a whopping $3 USD price tag on a broken game, we can only wonder why the developer is trying to scam people into buying a game with an empty manifest, but it most certainly is a scam. Your direct attention can be seen as validation or a defensive attempt to silence your customers.[/quote] The developer breaches Valve guidelines to make sure people know they're incapable of understanding some pretty basic concepts, so let's break it down. It is completely irrelevant how much I paid for the game, this doesn't change how much the developer is charging people for this broken train wreck. It's unclear why the developer fails to comprehend this very basic concept... or perhaps the developer thinks it's the buyers who set prices in the marketplace, and completely forgot that when they listed the game on Steam they put a $3 price tag on it? Regardless, the sheer ineptitude of the developer in understanding this basic concept is bewildering. I didn't "play" the game for 0.2 hours, because the game cannot be played. I had to idle it through ASF to get sufficient play time to warn gamers that this is a broken product. Perhaps the developer failed to understand that when he blanked the game manifest and effectively broke the game for everyone unlucky enough to own it, it became unplayable... but that's why I wrote my review. Gamers must be warned when developers behave unethically, through incompetence or malice, try to scam people into buying unplayable games on Steam.
