First of all, devs, please don't stop making games, especially like this! This little game got me hooked the moments I knew I was playing a Demolition Derby game but made today...I just had a blast going through the career and doing all the gold medal missions. What can I say, I love to destroy stuff and had so much fun with the driving model & physics and the way the damage works(kind of a funny, gimmicky way). Only way I could see this game being perfect is to have some sort of boost/nitrous & faster cars as rewards or cheat codes. But, who knows, maybe the next game will have something like it or in an update? I definitely recommend this!
What do you get when you mix Destruction Derby with Destruction Derby 64 and Destruction Derby 2? You get Crumple Zone! This is what Destruction Derby could have been if we had better technology back in the early 90's! The Game Developer has gone above and Beyond to bring Destruction Derby into the 21st century with this spiritual successor, I am looking forward to Crumple Zone 2!

Definitely the best destruction derby game I've ever played. The split screen local play makes this game so much fun to play with friends. A real throw back to the good old days of destruction derby, like on the ps1. Would highly recommend this game for it's fun story and local split screen with friends
Remember the old Destruction Derby series from the late 90's? Well Crumple Zone is trying to recreate, and it's pretty good!
I wish this game had more cars and tracks, as well as mod support (or was in the workshop). It's simple, it's fun, and it brings back my childhood with the vehicular combat games that were very plentiful in the 90s and early 00s. I bought it on sale and then bought it for my friend after remote playing together. I plan on completing it to the best of my ability, maybe even 100%ing it, although it'll come in spurts, the tracks to get very repetitive and stale after awhile. I hope the devs are still around and willing to put more effort into this game or even a successor.
Crazy fun with cool graphics and music. Thumbs up!
I really liked this game, and I'm glad it's now part of my collection. Now, some people are comparing this game to AAA titles and criticizing it; however, just because something is realistic does not mean it is fun to play; this game demonstrates that arcade psychics can create truly chaotic and enjoyable moments, particularly in a vehicular destruction game. We shouldn't compare pears to apples, as each has its own unique taste and qualities. That being said, the game's main drawback is that it offers only four cars and eight tracks (five for "racing" and three arenas). Now that I understand it, the game is pricey since it was developed by a single individual, but this does not explain the lack of material in the game. To make a game replayable, especially one as pricey as this one, some effort is required. I would recommend buying it on sale.
a fun callback to the good old days of racing games
Me gustan los derbys de demolición este juego los recomiendo mucho.
This belongs to the hall of fame under Destruction category alongside "Concept Destruction" & "Tiny Car Mess" Indies. Okay Damage Model. Minimum Car Choices. Amazing Leaderboards. Great Paint Jobs. Wonderful Tracks. Good Luck With Crumple Zone 2.
