About
CRUEL drops you into a twisted world. One where you must embrace a demonic entity brought on by well yourself, choose what you truly desire and brace yourself for the horrors ahead.
Survive a Living Nightmare: Battle through 10 dynamic, ever-changing levels filled with bloodthirsty enemies who won’t stop until you’re dead. The building itself is your enemy and it’s trying to consume you.
Run, Fight, and Adapt: Speed is your only ally as you race against a constantly shifting environment. Keep an eye out for cans, which serve as both health boosts and currency for powerful upgrades. Stack them up and unleash a devastating attack when you need it most.
Pulse-Pounding OST: Feel the adrenaline surge with a hard-hitting electronic soundtrack that keeps you on edge. The relentless beats and aggressive synths mirror the intensity of the gameplay, immersing you deeper into the chaotic, surreal world of CRUEL.
A Blast from the Past: Inspired by the adrenaline-pumping classics of FPS and arcade games, CRUEL delivers fast-paced action with a twist of dark humour. It's a nostalgic thrill ride that doesn’t take itself too seriously, offering a fresh experience with a comedic kick.

honestly the game punishes you for going too fast which defeats the point of this type of game. spawning an explosive enemy on the other side of the door is lame idc otherwise it would be worth it. and yes ive beat the game its not hard just annoying
This is a fun time. Well worth the price of admission. If you are fan of OG DOOM it's right up your alley quick snappy combat and doesn't hold your hand. I know people compare it to Mullet Madjack, but I think this stands on it's own delivering an experience that doesn't get so tedious so quickly. My only big critique is enemy variety, later stage enemies are typically just more powerful versions of the early stage enemies. Other than that 9/10, am going to play a ton more.

cool ass game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
It could be that I just suck at videogames (and it probably is) but this game is so punishing and relentless in its energy. Its like Doom but instead of demons in space it's psychos in an apartment complex, and then it took speedball.
My only critique of the game is that i wish there was more of it! I'm working on getting all achievements because the core gameplay is so solid and satisfying, despite being so simple. It's probably the best feeling roguelike if you like fast-paced boomer-shooters. Looking forward to what my boy james is cooking next.
--------------------------------------- Updated review at 6 hours: --------------------------------------- I was finally able to finish a run without dying at ~4.5 hours. This unlocked endless mode and a few other challanges. The game is very fun - super intense. So you basically ,kick down doors, shoot\melee enemies and run for your life. Has a very cute dog between floors and pretty much a very "I like edgy stuff in the cute way" vibe. The game is pretty unforgiving too but still very satisfying when you get the controls down. Easy to get into flow. Highly recommended. --------------------------------------- Original review at ~1.5 hours: --------------------------------------- Super fun and easy to get in to, the game is very hard but times flies. The dog is super cute and is a great touch to the insanity going on. Love the style and theme.
Good game that goes really hard with the OST. It scratches some deep itch in the depths of my lymbic system that yearns for nihilistic violence. Basically Hotline Miami if it were a roguelike boomer shooter.
Supremely fun! Hoping this dev will expand on this game - maybe with some DLC or additional content? Either way, I'd support it. Looking forward to the future of this developer!
Good little bit of insanity
ts game is aura
