About
You wake in a procedurally generated world with fog pressing in on all sides and hunger already gnawing at you. Somewhere out there — scattered across dangerous terrain, hidden in the dark — are relics. Find them all, and the Crown appears. Claim it, if you can survive what comes next.
Hunt by Day. Hunt by Night. Day relics shimmer gold in the daylight. Night relics glow purple in the dark. Your compass guides you, but the world doesn't wait — and neither do the things that share it with you.
Manage Everything Hunger is your most dangerous enemy. Every step costs you. Rest at campfires to bridge the day/night cycle, scavenge for food, and choose your fights carefully — wolves, bandits, wraiths, bog hags, and worse are all hunting their own meal.
Build Your Run Relics and equipment drop with unique bonuses. Each run, you shape a different build — then carry the best lessons forward through meta-progression modifiers unlocked across runs.
Compete for the Crown Finish a run and you're scored and graded — Legendary Relic Hunter down to mere Wanderer. Seed-based leaderboards let you compete on the same map as every other player. Daily seeds, random seeds, or custom seeds — your choice.
One More Run Achievements. Unlockable run modifiers. Dynamic creature types. Procedurally generated maps with weather, campfires, fog of war, and a siege that waits for you at the end of every successful hunt.
The Crown is yours to claim. Probably.

Remember SSI (Strategic Simulations Inc.)? Founded 1979 SSI was THE Company for strategic Wargames (Like PANZER GENERAL) and Roleplay Games (AD&D like POOL OF RADIANCE) In my Eyes their golden Era was on the Commodore 64 (C64) where they published most of their best Games. In 1986 they realeased WIZARD´S CROWN. It was their first RPG. I remember playing so many Hours, because this Game was, what we call today hardcore. Remembering that a simple Encounter took About 20 to 30 Minutes if you don´t used the Quick Combat Option. Goal of the Game was to find the Crown of the Wizard. Years went by and i sadly forgot About it. Until 3 days ago. Welcome to CROWNSEEKER! Well, CROWNSEEKER was gifted to me and at first sight i was so excited because of the wonderfull Retro Graphics. Afer staring and playing i remembered WIZARD´S CROWN. So much in Common. But thank God no 30 Minute fights. CROWNSEEKER is truly inspired by WIZARD´S CROWN and is a very nice homage to it. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3748586860 It is your Goal to find the Crown, but before you must find Relics. If you got them all, go, get the Crown for the Win. Sounds easy? You wish so. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3748587588 Your Party has a Wizard and a Priest. Their spells are you Weapons against Monsters. But in different Timezones. Mage cast by day and Priest by Night. The Relics are also in 2 Zones. Gold Relics visible Dawn to Dusk and Purple Relics from Dusk to Dawn. Resting at Fireplaces helps you to Change it. What i learned is, that the hardest Enemy you have ist your Hunger. Collect Food on your Way, otherwise it cames fastly to a Game over. The Maps are from small to Big, depending on the Difficulty. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3748587711 What can i say? CROWNSEEKER is suprisingly addicting. The Runs are short and there are Special Daily Maps but you can also create a Random Map. So no Run is like the Other. After a Run you get Points and there are Leaderboards. And it is pure fun to hunt for higher Scores. Depending on how you compete a Run can be short or Long. In this Case you can save your Game. There are also Achievements. A big thanks for the Dev for returning such good Memories, you did a very good Job here. And thank YOU for Reading. Fun game! Cool concept, it can be pretty addicting to try and get a higher score by getting combo kills, and the mad rush to the center once you've collected all the items to get the crown is exciting. Definitely recommend!
