A neat game with a unique creature evolution system. It's fun to see the tree grow and predict which animals might be next!
i dont understand why they have fences and gates when shutting the gate doesnt matter when it comes to animals getting through!! soo annoying. corralling stuff so that you can keep track of poop before it disappears is a nightmare. i like the extensive puzzle that just expands to create more critters, but the poop/crop/money dynamic needs alot of work.
I really wanted this game to fill the void Viva Pinata left in many of us. But, quoting one of the achievements, "wasn't as good" This game tries to do something I appreciate as it takes clear inspiration from the XBox360 Viva Pinata games. But it misses the mark for me. The 'garden' feels far too large and needs to be much more micromanaged much more than I ever had to in viva Pinata. A large reason this game is more of a chore is because, unlike Viva Pinata, the animals need to eat. Some of them eat plants that you'll have to constantly replant and others will eat other animals, which can lead to an extinction of that animal so you'll have to either evolve some animals back into the extinct ones or collect whatever food that animal eats and make a bunch of clones. On top of that in order to plant anything you need poop, so it's a constant chore of dragging your mouse all around the whole map so you can plant a few broccoli. There are also 4 mini games that are incredibly slow, boring, and unfair. Enemies have spawned on top of me in them, I had no fun at all with any of them. The developers even thought each one was with a "don't get hit achievement" despite the complete lack of quality. Honestly each time I had to do one it brought the whole game down significantly.
Részemről ebben a játék a kevesebb több lett volna.
Picked this up after playing the demo for an hour - the save data does NOT carry over from the demo A cute, at-your-own-pace game for critter lovers of all kinds :D Esp. if you want to make/design your own little ecosystem. Just a heads up: some critters do, uh, need to... eat... other ones to grow! 10/10, would recommend to those look for a super farming experience.
I simultaneously feel like an exploration scientist and a chill gardener, has a lot more content than I initially anticipated too which is awesome. Curious to see where the story goes now Definitely scratches that viva pinata itch
Its a very fun game if youre into 100%ing and love farming games
YOU WILL PICK ZE POO AND EAT ZE BUGS
The only way to make progress is to do every single little thing. Simply put: 100% everything that you have access to. That takes all the fun of geting something done away. The game is just a chore, not a fun ride.
I'm checking yes because this game clearly had bucketloads of a love and dedication poured into it, and if you think you'd enjoy it please do give it a shot. That said I didn't actually like it that much personally. I went in expecting Viva Pinata and while that is the gist of it, it just takes so long. Everything is on a larger time scale, and I don't want to wait for the things I have to wait for. Nothing is wrong with the game from a functional standpoint. It runs beautifully, though doesn't support my native resolution. It just isn't FOR ME, but I do recommend everybody who thinks they would enjoy it gives it a shot.
