Had to stop playing after 2 hours of watching a tutorial pixel guy tell me what to do in a simple farming game. I almost died because they lock you out of hitting the esc button or skip or anything. It was literally like one of those 70.00 rpg cinematic games where its mostly story. I was so mad I just alt f4. I suggest the dev completely remove the tutorial OR at the main page instead of saying skip tutorial....WARN PLAYERS THAT YOU WILL BE THERE FOR A VERY LONG TIME AND CANT DO A THING TILL ITS OVER. The nonsense and cheesy stuff the helper guy was saying was so terrible and torturous and took so long I could have watched the entire final fantasy 16 story cut scenes before it was done. That bad. This is the last time I play a game with no skip button.
The food dont last long. The toys break to fast. You cant keep up with the money to keep one happy I couldnt imagine what a pain in the @ss it would be to take take of more then one. Edit: I said what was wrong. I mean my dude ate 3 of my foods in one of the days. Which the first one you get eats what seems the highest costing food too.
If you're looking for a relaxing yet rewarding game that you can pick up anytime, Critter Isle is an absolute standout in the idle clicker genre. From the moment I started, I was hooked—not by flashy graphics or complex mechanics, but by the simple satisfaction of progress and discovery. The core gameplay loop is classic idle clicker: tap to earn resources, upgrade systems to automate, and collect a growing array of items or characters. But where Critter Isle truly shines is in how it layers that mechanic with an engaging collection system. Whether it's rare creatures, foods, or quirky decor, each unlock feels like opening a present. The visual and audio feedback when you make progress is just the right mix of satisfying and unobtrusive. Progression is well-paced—fast enough to keep you engaged, but balanced so that long-term goals still feel meaningful. The developers clearly understand the genre's appeal: incremental growth, idle rewards, and just enough active play to keep things fresh. One of my favorite features is how the game respects your time. Whether you're actively tapping away or checking in during a break, there's always something waiting for you. Idle games often live or die by their polish and pacing, and this one nails both. Whether you're a longtime fan of the genre or just need something fun and low-stress to play on the side, this is one of the best out there.
Genuinely an amazing game i love this so much its so addicting and fun.
It's an okay game, the tutorial was terrible and really annoying to read. The game itself gets really boring as even with one egglin it's a struggle to earn money to buy stuff. Especially as the only food that really brings up its hunger is the most expensive food and the toys break within 1 to 2 uses.
Its boring. Thats all i can say. Didnt even bother to play long enough because of that.
