Criminal Archives: City on Fire Collector's Edition

I love these detective type HOG games. This one was very good, the mystery had a 'Backdraft' vibe which was fun. However it has a lot of minigames. A lot. So many that I just started skipping them if I couldn't solve them in a minute. Especially near the end. It's also more convoluted than most of the HOGs I've played. I kept hoping to find one object, instead finding something entirely useless at that moment, which was a little frustrating. I made use of the Hint button. However the bonus chapter has one of the most entertaining minigames I have ever played, so it was worth it for that. The bonus chapter was also a good mystery. All in all, would recommend for mystery buffs. ^-^

Compared to other games of this genre, at least here the characters are well-made and the overall appearance of the game is pleasant. Enjoy!

Fun hidden object/mystery game.

보너스 챕터까지 꽤 긴 분량의 스토리, 다양한 퍼즐, 스팀 도전과제가 없어서 회차플레이 필요X 인게임 도전과제는 있고 도전과제 명칭으로 보건대 스토리 진행하면 자동으로 클리어 되어야 되는것 같은데 버그인지 혹은 따로 조건이 있는지 달성 못한 게 본편 3개, 보너스 챕터 1개 있음. 세이브 초기화하고 여기저기 눌러봤지만 여전히 안 깨짐. 스토리 퀄은 무난하고 애니메이션도 많이 들어가 있는 편. 퍼즐도 대부분 쉬움. 다른 HOG게임에서 본 적 없는 퍼즐도 몇 가지 나오지만 그런것들은 좀 귀찮은 편임.. 숨은 그림 찾기도 퀴즈를 푸는 방식이라던가, 어울리는 장소에 갖다둬야하는 등 다양화 시킨 점도 평가받을만함. 중반에 나사 푸는거 렌치나 빠루나 드라이버 이런거 아무것도 없어가지고 대체 뭘 어쩌라는거야.. 개빡쳐서 가지고 있는 템 다 집어넣어봤는데, 사슴벌레 뿔로 나사를 돌려서 푼다는 정신 나간 생각 한 놈은 누구냐 ㅋㅋ ================================================== ++ 도미니에서 제작한 타 게임을 해보고 인게임 도전과제 클리어 안 되는게 버그가 아니라 서브 퀘스트란게 있다는걸 알게 됨. 사이드 퀘스트 남아 있을 때 넘어가려고 하면 정말 넘어갈 건지 선택지 뜨는게 사이드 퀘스트가 남아있다는 뜻. 이게 힌트를 눌러도 메인 스토리 진행만 비춰주다보니 어디다 쓰는건지 알기 좀 어려운게 단점이긴 한데, 어쨌든 즐길거리를 더 넣어준건데 이걸로 비추주기도 뭐하고 해서 추천으로 전환함.

Tolle Grafik, schönes Spiel, die Geschichte ist auch nicht schlecht. Ich möchte nur 2 Punkte kritisieren: 1: Die ständigen Wiederholungen im Spiel, z.B. Wagen, an denen die Räder fehlen, Dampf, der im Weg ist, Vögel, die mit einer Tute vertrieben werden müssen und Sofas, die abgestützt werden müssen 🙄... Das wird mit der Zeit etwas langweilig und ich würde mir mehr Abwechslung in den Spielen wünschen. 2: Ich konnte nicht einen einzigen geheimen Ort bewältigen! Die Mini-Spiele dort funktionieren nicht und am Ende fehlen immer Sachen, die nicht zu finden sind, was mich persönlich sehr frustriert hat! Ich verstehe jetzt auch, warum andere Spieler die Option diese Orte zu erkunden von vornherein ablehnen, da es reine Zeitverschwendung ist! Aber darauf muss man erst einmal kommen und bis dahin sind Frust und Enttäuschung groß 🤔. Ich würde die Entwickler bitten daran zu arbeiten oder diese Orte ganz wegzulassen, denn der Spieler (zumindest, was meine Person betrifft) fühlt sich irgendwann wirklich verschaukelt und das ist kein schönes Gefühl. Das Spiel soll ja Spaß machen, oder? Allen Spielern, die noch nicht so viele Spiele von dieser Produktion gespielt haben würde ich dieses Spiel durchaus empfehlen.

Nice mix of easy and challenging puzzles. It's just a shame it doesn't have steam achievements.

First impressions are really good. Some new puzzles I've never seen before. It's fun wreaking havoc by clicking on random things and making them fall over, lol. Not all solutions are obvious (albeit logical, which is important) and the individual puzzles are tricky. I'm happy to find an HOG game that makes you think outside the box. The only negative comment so far is that it's really quiet, I would like to have more background music. There is some music, but only sparingly. Update: Think I'm about 3/4 way through. The colour saturation is excellent, beautiful image quality. FYI - you'll need to click on a target twice sometimes, the hotspot is small and you may miss it the 1st time you click.

в этой игре мне очень понравилось несколько вещей как для категории таких игр: 1. упрощенное минималистическое удобное меню, не на полэкрана, ничего не мерчает не отвлекает, круто сделали 2. анимахи! почти на каждом экране ты можешь поклацать какие-то предметы, не связанные с заданиями и они будут как-то с тобой взаимодействовать: страницы - разлетаться, обои - отрываться, это приятное нововведение, мне раньше не попадалось, такие мини-анимации очень оживляют игру 3. так же и не пожадничали на анимации при взаимодействии с предметами, классно сделано, спасибо!
