CrimeBot 2: Detective Mystery Games

Brought this thinking it was going to be a nice detective game, haven't played a good one in a good while. The "detective part of the game" is not detective per say and more of a point and click where the clues are not really clues, same for witnesses and "objects" which is also given to us, tinkered around and found out you'd have to use an in game currency to buy some stuff to make the game more fleshed out apparently and honestly I'm not going to bother in wasting time on a game if that's a requirement to making me feel like I'm doing something other than just clicking and guessing. I don't know if the publishers/people who made the game are going to see this but if they are: There are some spelling mistakes, 'blacks' is used instead of 'black' to describe color. The picture used for some suspects DONT match the description given in their file and honestly I'm sorry if there was an actual artist behind the artwork but it looks like AI, and the lazy matchup of the suspects+picture just kind of solidifies that. Also for the many pics we're able to choose as our 'person' they all look the same and it's honestly giving "I entered a prompt and it spit out this". Do better, I'm not wasting my money on lazy games like this.

Generative AI nonsense. That info they put towards the bottom right before the reviews really buries the lede. They use gen AI *way* more that leads you to believe. Sad because I really wanted a new deduction puzzle game to enjoy but this ain't it. Then again, I see the developer is called Robobot Studio, so I guess that *could* be called truth in advertising. Anyway, save your money and don't buy this.

Very nice little detective-game. - sort of realistic take on the detective-genre. Main focus is on matching evidence with suspect-properties. The evidence has been pre-collected. - it has a "sciency" approach, great for the enthusiastic investigators, but less interesting for the people expecting spectacle. - I have not yet discovered any in-game currency (maybe in the demo-version, but i have the paid version). - works also on linux under proton-compatibility-layer. (however there are some miniscule issues with click and or drag-events).

Крайне странный порт мобильного "детектива", где от детектива только обращение к игроку и атмосфера. Дело не описывается, просто накидывается набор "улик", свидетельств и подозреваемых, сопоставить которые даже не всегда получается, а часто их вообще недостаточно. На каждой миссии дается небольшое кол-во попыток сделать улики чуть более точными (чьи отпечатки на том или ином предмете, параметры подозреваемых и тд), но если угадать, что полезно, не вышло, то надо докупать попытки за опыт, который, судя по всему, со временем должен кончится - и что тогда, если логики здесь недостаточно? Дел много, но как минимум начальные однотипные и вообще без какой-либо истории, только отчет коронера и пара свидетельств

日本語でプレイしましたが、世界観に没入できませんでした。 翻訳具合はガバ多め、メインストーリーとなる事件以外は作業ゲーと化します。 かといって作業ゲーの観点からしても単調すぎて苦痛です。 特にひどいのは容疑者のプロファイルです。 ほとんどのプロファイルで容疑者の「特徴」と容疑者の写真が全く別物になっています。 髪の色：黒人たち（本当にこう書いてある）と書いているのに写真では白だったり、 年齢59歳で身長152cm、体重105kgと書かれていてもモデルのようなお若い女性の写真になっていたり、あからさまなランダムシステムを目の当たりできます。 目撃者の証言も単調でプレイヤーへの指示の一つという印象しかなく、 現場の手がかり写真はタイトルで答えが簡潔しており、それを基に考察等は全くありません。 以上から、かなりの物好き以外はオススメできません。 今後大型アップデート等で改善されることを望んでおります。

Some grammar issues and confusing hints (like “SEAT” being a car brand rather than an actual seat) can trip you up at first. Another suggestion is to add more variety to the background music. While the suspenseful track is fine, having different tunes would make long play sessions feel more engaging. Overall, CrimeBot 2 is a great choice for anyone looking to sharpen their detective skills. With a few tweaks, it could become an even better experience!

It was a very nice and fun detective game, I liked it very much. It was really fun to find criminals in the game, the addition of the ranked system added a different excitement to the game, the main story is also very good, the assistant helped me a lot in the main story. I think that fans of the genre should definitely try it once. I recommend it to everyone.

If you liked the old text detective online game SLEUTH, then you'll like this. This is like a more updated and graphical version of Sleuth (which I think you can still play). By the randomized nature of the way the clues are formed there will always be cases you can mess up if you don't take the right angle from the get go, but for the most part once you have the reasoning down you can pretty much solve everything as far as the quick cases go. The story mode end cases (which I've only done 2 so far) are more challenging but if you take time and read through everything they do make sense and can be solved. Recommended.

Если бы не было проблем с управлением, то скорее всего с сериалом на фоне потыкать было бы неплохо, но очень размытый текст, будто бы картинку растянули и даже не потрудились переписать диалоги и дела, глаза начинают болеть. Для бесплатной игры скорее всего простила бы. Нет оконного режима, если хочется в процессе поменять ту же громкость музыки, то будь добр перейди на главный экран. Я конечно не ожидала чего-то крутого, но точно не планировала смотреть на размытую картинку и текст. Грустно, что еще сказать(

This game is a lot of fun! There's a lot all at first but after the first case or two everything is super easy to navigate through. Most cases, at least early on, are pretty simple and easy to guess if you see the right clues. It's really nice for people who enjoy putting two and two together and seeing the results for it. There's a few grammar mistakes in the dialogue or like things sounding slightly off. AI is used a lot for the creative elements so there's only a handful of images used for evidence, like it could show a picture of a diary and say "Dress". As long as you read it, it won't bother the game play though I would definitely play again! The first main case of the game got me thinking for a while so that was fun. They give you all the clues unlocked and you have to sort through it all. It's really fun playing a little detective and seeing it come together!
