this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome
Crayola Scoot is pretty much the love child of Splatoon and Tony Hawk, well if it came out of the womb with a scooter instead of a skateboard anyway. Gameplay can be pretty fun, you go around doing tricks painting everything while also trying to claim markers to get even more coverage, think of Tony Hawk in terms of the arcadey way of doing combos gathering points but using the right stick and Splatoon for well the paint. There are few modes like Crazy Crayons where you try to get 5 Crayons before everyone else, Color Frenzy/Team Color Frenzy where either yourself or your team tries to get more paint coverage than the other players/team, Splatter Tag Chase/Survive where you go down trying to tag everyone and tagging players makes them a tagger as well and Survivor where you try not to get tagged, Trick Run where you try to get more points than the rest of the players, and S.C.O.O.T. where you or your opponent sets a combo and the other either beats the score or gains a letter. In terms of replayability there actually is quite a bit, albeit if your someone like me where you get all the achievements in the game you may not want to considering it does get repetitive quite fast, but you can go through the singe player levels trying to get all the stars, you can buy all the clothes/parts, you can play the arcade where if gives you access to all the modes including co-op multiplayer, but that's about it. Oh also achievements. There is a complaint I have with the controls however being that I think the controls should've been changed from using the right stick to do tricks to using the actual face buttons because the game feels like it's emulating a D-PAD instead of full 360 movement just making it unreliable sometimes, while using the face buttons in addition with the left stick for inputs could've alleviated this issue at least imo. I've also gotten stuck in places and turning is a little sluggy sometimes making it a pain when getting out of corners with obstacles in the way, also sometimes grinds just don't work and cause me to bail for whatever reason. Overall I would recommend this game, but on a sale, I've bought this game twice once on my Xbox and the other well obviously on PC and I didn't pay full price either time, not because this a bad game because it isn't, but at one point it was $40 and it definitely wasn't worth that and I don't really think it's worth the full $20 either. The game's presentation is really good, the game looks great with it's cel-shading and with all the color and the game's sound direction is also really good with all the splat sounds and even the game's OST, but like I said in my review even with the game's replayability I doubt most people are going to play through everything especially since it's repetitive. It only takes you about 3 hours to beat the main game, and about 5-6 if you wanna get the rest of the achievements. If you find it on a sale for like $3 like me and you like arcadey games like this then give it a shot, it's a pretty good "bargain" sorta game. Oh I also played this on Linux and everything pretty much works besides the company logo splash screens.
muy bueno para cuando no hay internet
It is a game that is clearly intended for kids. And as such you would expect it to be easy. But: Surprisingly enough, It is really difficult. Getting all 3 stars seems almost impossible. I kept failing and failing, until I just gave up. The gameplay is smooth and quite fun too. Even the visuals are quite nice, I like them. Pretty much everything in this was alright. Except for the insane difficulty. That's oof. I even got stuck at the tutorial for a while. Honestly don't know how kids can beat it. Even adults are having troubles. So, how? But yeah, I think it is a pretty good game. It might be worth grabbing, if discounted. The default price is way too high, for real. Crayola Scoot isn't worth 19,99€, no way. Maybe like 3,99€. Or something like that. Buy this for your kids during the discount.
Huh, well its actually good. good music, good controlls. Tutorial sucks, but itll be over soon. Visuals good for price. Can do hard difficulty. Poor optimization.
