Good in theory, otherwise, not as much. the game doesn't introduce the controls at all (use e to use stuff BTW), starts hard, no explanation for most things, the multi tool to mine is messed up, impossible to get out of holes, mini map doesn't help, and I finally quit after being unable to locate my ship. That's just the tip of the iceberg i'm sure. with some work on the game, it would be great, but not in it's current stage.
"Craterbound" is a cade of a developer biting off more than he can chew... this is a really badly made, overambitious open world survival/crafting game with a sci-fi theme... think Empyrion, but from Temu. It's in a shockingly unpolished state and feels more like a pre-alpha, but it's been published here on Steam as a complete game. If you try to play this you'll have a bad time. Graphicswise, this has some fairly mediocre/mismatched looking graphics (some low poly, some not) that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

Бесплатная игра жанра Выживания в уникальном и враждебном инопланетном мире неизвестной планеты.
It's a low-poly astroneer ripoff and I love it. It's free and gives the basic understandings of the game very quickly and smoothly. its aight.
I love the game it's very fun. but in the menu when you push tab you can't read any of the text. on most settings you can not read the top text. if you have it on Epic graphic settings any other settings you cannot read any text I literally cannot see what I am crafting even on Epic settings. because that text is just so pixelated everything in the menus is so pixelated I can't read anything. 5 out of 10 fix the problems 10 out of 10
Fun game, great potential.... but I keep digging down by mistake and unable to get out of holes!
