A cozy time survival roguelite in space. You steer the shippy while the shooting happens automatically. Meet cute NPCs, solve small quests, and fight quirky enemies with satisfying weapons. A shorter experience for people who don't have much time but love playing (and finishing) games.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 17/day in the week to Jul 16 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's really nice, and a lot of fun, there's just not a lot of content there. Enjoy it for an hour or two, which is fine given the cheap price.

Not bad.
+Aesthetics are cute and functional +Some player choice +Two control schemes (keyboard or mouse) -Too slow progress in terms of weapons -Too little player choice -Grindy pace -> chocolate (roguelite currency) upgrades feel brokenly good in terms of progression = Neutral review, but since I would not recommend such game for myself, I won't do it to you either.
Cozy Space Survivors delivers exactly what it promises. A cozy, space-themed take on the Vampire Survivors formula. The progression system is well designed, and each ship has its own distinct playstyle, keeping the game feeling fresh from start to finish. The upgrades are powerful and satisfying, and I always enjoyed watching my humble little ship transform over the course of a run into a heavily weaponized machine of mass destruction. The side quests and missions are a great, giving each level a sense of purpose beyond simply surviving. They do a nice job of mixing up the gameplay and encouraging exploration. I also appreciated the charming cast of characters you meet along the way. they're cute, memorable, and add plenty of personality to the experience. For just a couple bucks, Cozy Space Survivors offers a lot of fun and is an easy recommendation from me.
It’s hard to downvote. It’s cute and clearly a labor of love from the dev. But if you’re really into roguelikes like hades and vampire survivors you’ll fail to be challenged and may find it hard for CSS to hold your attention. For those of you interested in dipping a toe into the water of roguelikes this may be a short short and sweet trial. However I’d still recommend VS over this for the price point there is more replayability and variation. CSS will occupy your time for a couple hours but there is very little reason to replay once you beat it. But is it new, unique or do something different? Nah. Is there chocolate and smiling planets needing your help? Yes. I found myself discovering what the dev intended with learning the gameplay it was confusing initially kinda fun in the middle and then fell short of holding my interest. I’m about 80% and not sure if I’ll go back to finish. I can appreciate the arcade like vibes of old where you could easily sink quarters in round after round of asteroids. I had fun and enjoyed myself for a bit and I’m thankful for the roll of quarters I did not spend. Runs well on steam deck. It’s fun for a little while but gets repetitive in way that does not begin or advance the story and somewhat boring quite quickly. Saving the moos, providing water and protecting planets. All in a 10min days work for you and your ship. I love beating up asteroids for chocolate sadly some ships do this better than others and you’ll have to farm it for some upgrades. Chocolate will provide about 10 prevalent upgrades the easiest place farm is the donut. I’ve unlocked 8 upgrades so far as part of natural play with the first couple ships and they’re middling at best. There are too few variations and upgrades. Plenty of other games do this better. Gameplay: it’s a single level essentially with the same quests replayed while exploring a different ship. Progression is mostly based on lasting 10m with each of the 5 ships with their own downfalls. 1 is big and slow but holds the most weapons another is very fast but no weapons etc. the same 10 quests are available for each with the ultimate goal being to complete all 10 quests and stay alive with each of the 5 ships for 10m. The quests are tied to saving each planet you encounter by completing relatively easy basic quests. A few are battle related the rest are retrieval based. You can pick up multiple quests at a time. Arrows will keep track of each. There is not enough replayability, upgrades or uniqueness to the quests to want to keep playing. Usually games like this suck me in and I can play for hours leveling up finding new weapons and upgrades etc. but this just didn’t do that. No skill trees or real leveling up of weapons. 2hr in and I’m struggling to find the dopamine rush these games usually provide to close out the last 2 ships.
Jöööööööö, so herzig. Kann man Spielen! :)
I played the free demo for this game over a year ago and thought that it was pretty fun, but forgot to check back on this game after its full release. Thankfully had some extra time over the holidays and decided to give it a go. Really glad I did because I had a lot of fun playing the full game! The new ships, chocolate upgrades, and added mechanics are all really clever and allowed me to change up my gameplay in drastically different ways. Just finished 100% the game, which is not something I normally do, and am happy to recommend this game for anyone looking for a fun game for all ages. Definitely looking forward to any DLC, sequels, etc. !!!
I like it.
