Reviews
Okay, I initially gave this game a negative review because it seemed to be stuttering and lagging a lot on a pretty recently built gaming PC. But I completely logged out of Steam, relogged back into Steam and uninstalled the game and then reinstalled this game. No more issues at all, YAY! And I say "Yay" because this game is actually really well made and offered concise and crisp movement. The enemies are plentiful and challenging right from the get-go on "normal" difficulty and I absolutely LOVE all of the roguelike upgrades you can make. This game seems to be well worth your money if you like these kindof retro action space shooters. I do, and this game seems to definitely be a gem. I will be back once I've had more time in the game, but I needed to change this review to a "thumbs up" after being able to resolve the issues I was having., RECOMMENDED!! - Great Bang for Your Dollar Right Here People!!
It has a quick to pick up and easy to fall into loop that's "just one more run," which I appreciate. It feels light and responsive, and it never drags. The visuals stood out to me as well. There’s a nice, clean style to everything, and it all comes together in a way that just feels good to look at while playing. Overall, I enjoyed it. It’s simple, fun, and does what it needs to without overcomplicating things.
