Create your landscape

Paint trees, flowers, bushes and rocks, shape the land, and draw paths through the countryside. Use scatter brushes to paint entire forests in a single stroke.
Step inside your creation
Switch to Explore mode at any time and walk through the world you've created. Explore from first-person or third-person view, wander through forests, follow rivers, visit your village, and discover the little details of your landscape.
Let the rivers flow
Place rivers that wind through your landscape, flowing downhill and spilling over cliffs as waterfalls.
Build your village
Choose from a range of cozy buildings and adjust their size, shape and colors. Add fences, bridges, paths and other little details to make your village feel like home.
Bring it to life
Add animals, change the time of day and weather, adjust the sunlight, and watch your landscape come to life.
Take photos
Cozy Country is one big photo mode. Find a view you love, adjust the lighting, frame your scene, and take a photo whenever you like.
Relax and breathe
I made Cozy Country as a peaceful place to slow down, where you can build something small, step inside, and just be in it for a while. I hope you enjoy creating a cozy world that feels like your own❤️

This game is really pretty cool, it's like playing a water color painting that comes to life, it's very beautiful and versatile, you do have to kind of figure things out for yourself but it's not hard and the only thing that I would change is that in order to scroll from side to side or up or down you have to use the WASD keys and I would much rather prefer using the mouse to do that but it's not an end all be all..The game is cheap enough to just try it out and see if you would like it..I plan on playing it while listening to podcasts and true crime interrogations.

The game actually has great potential, a similar game Tiny Glade doesn't even have any animals. This game allows you to customize animal placement, weather and filters, and it also has third-person view, which is very cool Optimization is also good: less than 300MB in size and runs smoothly even at the highest graphics settings. However, there are still some problems. First, the graphics settings reset every time when you start a new save or enter a save, requiring you to manually switch the resolution back to ultra every time. Rivers could be freely placed, but currently they can only be placed along preset routes. There's also a sound bug when placing rivers; there's a very loud sound effect every time, even when the sound effects are muted. Animals will run around randomly, appearing in unexpected places, such as on the sea or directly inside buildings. When switching to third-person view, the mouse cursor remains on the screen, it should be hidden. Building bridges easily causes bugs where it get stuck in the ground. The slope design is poor, you can only flatten the ground, can't manually draw a mountain. Overall, there are some issues, and more content could be added, but the game price is great.
this title has so much promise and music is lovely unfortunately due to my accessibility issues I can't play it in its current state the little bit I played was beautiful but I got overwhelmed quickly by the default settings for the wildlife etc the default settings for wildlife needs to be set to slow and then let players increase their speed as desired also for the sculpting of paths etc there is a circle and a brush I play other games that use the circle but the brush added to it is just too much for me I wish all the best for this dev and I'll be watching from the sidelines as the game changes and grows
First of all, I love this game. I'm an avid Sims 4 player, and have played things like Black Desert and Palia. This game is in a sense a mix of those; the ability to create a world then roam in it. You get three world style choices (I've built two so far) and you get a rather sizeable island to customize to your heart's content. It's lighter on graphics than Wilderless or Meadowfell (due to size) and plays easily for me. I love being able to just paint in trees, flowers, etc with ease, and I like the river feature here better than in either Wilderless or Meadowfell. I do love the ability to customize the buildings exteriors in color and size, but the interiors are a bit wonky (especially since building in Sims was one of my fav things to do) The building interiors in Wilderless are laid out better because they are deliberately designed. Because you can so easily manipulate the building sizes and it has to populate the structure, this means you may get a big room full of barrels. Maybe you've got a lot of ale, I don't know. What would be cool, is if you could customize the interiors with a set of premade furniture set pieces, like you can with the statues outside. I do miss the pickups and the ability to interact with the animals, but they seem curious and come over when I'm building, which I love. I made an entire island full of archaeological ruins (including Moai! Love the moai), and, *fun tip*, I used the stone bridges to actually make half sunken looking ruins, a set of stairs, etc! Another reviewer mentioned we can only flatten the terrain. It would be nice to have a raise terrain function also (something that exists in Sims). Overall though, I'm very pleased. it's relaxing, you can noodle for hours creating all sorts of vistas that you can then inhabit and take lovely pictures of. I really was looking forward to this title coming out and it satisfies that creative urge to build a world then go disappear into it. I feel like these little places are maybe "off the map" places in Wilderless that I can go when I've had enough of wandering, being stalked by random chickens, etc, and just chill out a while.
超出预期了:可以第三人称,可以二段跳,可以滑翔,可以潜水,房子里的床可以躺、椅子可以坐、灯可以开,可以改天气...嚯嚯
Still needs a lot of work from initial release but the core idea of it is really solid. I'll be watching this game with huge interest.
Really cute game especially for the price, I love the filters/mods tab that allows you to play around with different visual filters and I love the addition of a landscaping group tool which places varieties of rocks/plants/trees down so that you do not have to spend ages individually placing them the main thing I find a little tedious is not being able to see an item until after I have placed it down, there is no indication of the scale of the object either so a lot of the time you are placing objects completely blindly and its tedious to have to keep resizing and rotating objects around I'm super excited for the potential this game has to keep updating and adding new things, overall it is really fun and will appeal a lot to people who enjoy decoration and world building in games
The maps need to be way bigger. I got bored within 20 minutes. This is more of a tech demo than a game. The river placement isn't very intuitive. You basically just click to add a source, and it paths out the rest to the nearest coast. Would be nice if it would path to the nearest river, too, if that's closer and downhill. You can't continue a river. It can only go from the high ground source to low ground. It would be nice if you could edit the terrain. Would be nice if you could just place a start and end point for the paths, and just have the algorithm map them out for you, instead of drawing each individual section by hand. Maybe have both options. It works for the rivers, but not the paths. It also works for bridges and fences. This is why it's not intuitive. There was a bunny just sitting on top of the water, not moving, not floating, not flowing downstream. I laughed. "Call tech support, Mr. Bunny! Get your physics fixed!" Would be nice if the game had a first-person camera. The little girl running around with her super jump was way too "asset store". And why is she doing a dodge roll? There's no enemies? Kind of killed the immersion. If it's a nature exploration game, why not have a character that walks by default? Give her a backpack and a hiking stick. If this was any more than the seven bucks I spent, it would have been a thumbs down. There's very little here to justify any price at all. This should be a free demo, with the map size being so small. That's what it feels like. Hopefully, more content is added at some point. There's no point in having a "hiking" game that's over in less than 2 minutes. But I assume the point was to just create a picturesque little forest scene and take pictures of it or something. The hiking mode was just added as an afterthought. That's cool, I guess, if you're into that sort of thing. But reduce the price if that's all there is. But it's an indie dev. So I'm not gonna bash them with a thumbs down. This game needs more work, though.
Downloaded this simply because of the discount and I love it! Very cozy and satisfying. I love all of the different animals, and the explore mode was so neat, especially being able to go into the buildings! I look forward to playing more, and seeing anything else that may get added :)
