Cows VS Vikings

This should be great, but it isn't. The concept of Vikings defending themselves from marauding cows is brilliantly silly, and the graphics match it wonderfully. It's the kind of game that I should love, but I'm so disappointed - quite simply because it's too darn hard. I play games for fun. Of course I want to win, I want to beat my previous best score. I want to succeed. But I'm not addicted to winning. And at some point the desire to win is outweighed by the simple fact that frustrating repetition of a level is NO FUN. The game doesn't allow you to grind to gain additional tower upgrade points (if it does, I cannot see how), so when you're stuck you're stuck. There do seem to be a few bugs - archers that ignore a nearby target - and I don't like the fact that the entire playing area doesn't fit on the screen (so if you forget to scroll you end up losing towers to firebombs). With a bit more work and some tweaking this game could be really great.

Klont das gute alte Kingdom Rush, aber nicht sehr gekonnt. Beispielsweise sieht man den Bildschirm nicht auf einen Blick.

Fun and tough game. The graphics are tremendous. Some levels are frustratingly hard and I quit playing for a while because I couldn't get past the level. The game is fun and the music is superb! This game is pure fun.

When I first started playing the game I really enjoyed it. Pretty fun and cute graphics. However, being in early access the game is never updated and seems abandoned. That is always a risk with early access games, hence why I normally don't buy them. This game has a lot of potential if they would work on it and update it. Very unbalanced at the moment.

So sad this got abandoned. Such a fun game that just needs a bit more love to it. The replay value was really there. Maybe someday :(

Fantastic storytelling, puns that made my laugh, funny graphics, and then bafflingly-difficult gameplay very early on. I'll definitely try a CvV2 if it ever exists, but even with a cheat engine to get past the problem level, the gameplay became repetitive.
