Cosmic Pebble

Nothing to say more than what people have already said here. It's a good, fun, platformer. It can be difficult, but not where where you're ripping your hair out going, "what am I suppose to do?!" It's intuitive, challenging, and feels rewarding to complete. I could be biased with the story, since I watched the update videos as they came. But it was charming. And I found myself looking forward to what happened in-between each level. Enjoyable game, will probably replay it a good number of times. A feat in itself to actually finish and publish a game as a solo dev, and for it to be good. Get it if you're interested.

An amazing, short but sweet precision platformer with an amazing story. I've been following this game for quite a while, and It's been great seeing it slowly grow. I am 100% going to put much more hours into this game.

Criminally underrated

Great game, I'd recommend going for all achievements because if you're at least decent at the game it actually doesn't take that long and it makes you feel like a god by the end of it, my brain exploded when I found out how to do the impossible. Another part that I found particularly cool was finding out how to do [REDACTED], achem ᵍᵒᵒᵖᵉʳ ᶦⁿ ᵗʰᵉ ᵈᵉᵉᵖ ᵇᵃˢᵉᵐᵉⁿᵗ ᵃᶠᵗᵉʳ ᵍᵉᵗᵗᶦⁿᵍ ᵉᵛᵉʳʸᵗʰᶦⁿᵍ COUGH, sorry, I have indigestion. Best $8.99 I've ever spent.

Very nice game made by just one developer. The story looks very interesting (from what i have seen so far). The music and dialogues create a general atmosphere very immersive and fitting to the concept that the game tries to present! Really fun to play!

Stop looking at reviews and play the game. You're just wasting time you could be spending playing this wonderful platformer!

gema oculta para los amantes del plataformeo de precision, que no te engañe el arte porque la jugabilidad es excelente. Trata de innovar con alguna que otra mecanica y lo hace bien. Hay muchisimo por hacer ademas de terminar el juego: hay 1 challenge por nivel (y no son faciles), recolectar todas las cookies y si te gusta el speedrun tambien se puede. Lo unico que no me gusto es usar el boomeran como arma para los jefes, no esta claro cuando puedo volver a usarlo (en el aire podes tirarlo varias veces seguidas pero en el suelo tiene un timing que no entiendo)... los jefes tienen 3 fases y si moris en cualquiera de las 3 empieza todo de nuevo hay dos logros en particular que son muy molestos e injustos, en el primero dependes de que el jefe no tire un ataque al cual no podes esquivar porque no tenes que saltar y el otro es una locura demencial que intente varias veces pero que no tiene sentido alguno morir millones de veces para ese logro por lo demas vale mil veces la pena

Very underrated game. The platforming and level design imo is almost as good as games like celeste, even tough sometimes the controls feel I little finnicky. I was surprised about how original each level's gimmicks were, and even when they were more generic, they were still taken to the extreme of their capabilities. It's a bit of a shame that there isn't (as far as I know) a level that mixes them all togheter. The last level tough randomly introduces a lot of gimmicks, and they're all good, but it makes the level feel a bit inchoesive, especially since some of the earlier gimmicks get kinda forgotten. The boss fights weren't that good (except the last one which I liked, tough it was kinda a different gameplay style), dying in one hit felt a bit weird, but they were pretty short, and not too tough once you got the hang of things so not so bad. The story has some really cringy moments, but also some really emotional ones. I was a bit teary in a few scenes. The main thing I disliked about the story was that it has almost nothing to do with the gameplay. The player character, Sophia, does literally everything from a "plot" standpoint, but she doesn't have any character arc or relevance to the story's themes besides acting as a therapist for the other characters. Meanwhile the other characters carry all of the story's emotional and thematic weight, but they don't do anything to advance the plot. If they weren't there, Sophia would be able to advance all the way to the game's end anyways. And nothing you do in the actual levels (aside from finding a few characters) actually advances the plot, which kinda advances on its own. Another thing I didn't quite like is that the levels, altough they have great level design from a gameplay standpoint, don't really even try to feel like real locations, but rather just obstacle courses. Of course in no platformer they're gonna feel 100%, or even 50% real, because irl you simply cannot find floating platforms, but for some reason I find this problem especially pronounced in this game compared to others I've played, tough I can't quite put my finger on it. Music was pretty great. Overall fantastic game, will probably come back to it.

I agree with the other reviews, this is a highly underrated Celeste like game. If you like Celeste, you will like this game. It's fresh as well, kind of reminds me of the strawberry jam mod. It's about as hard as the vanilla a sides.
