awesome game, very challenging, and devs are on the case for fixing any issues and updating the game.
The game is so fun. Upgrades feel satisfying. And I love the character designs!
A fun bullet-hell rougelike with tons of different ships, pilots & power ups. All the different characters and ships are unique and meld well with each other. Not much else to say other then that the dev is really nice.
a very well-made and addictive game that blends the twin-stick shooter and survivor-like genres. a great addition to any steam library.
I played the demo of Cosmic Carnage a while ago and already loved the mix of retro charm and modern roguelite design. Coming back to the full release, it’s amazing to see how much the game has grown. The amount of variety is on a completely different level now, and every run feels fresh thanks to the huge number of possible builds and combinations. What I enjoy most is how each choice changes the entire feel of a run. Different astronauts and ships push you into new playstyles, and the upgrades stack in ways that constantly surprise you. It’s the kind of game where you start a quick session and suddenly realise you’ve been experimenting with new builds for an hour. The presentation is stronger than ever. The visuals keep that nostalgic arcade energy while looking sharp and vibrant, and the soundtrack keeps the action moving with the same intensity I loved in the demo. It captures the spirit of classic space shooters while giving you the depth and replayability of a modern roguelite. Cosmic Carnage is fast, challenging, and endlessly fun. It’s clear how much passion went into it, and the final result is something genuinely special. If you enjoy arcade shooters or roguelites, this is absolutely worth playing.
Fun game, very satisfying sounds and art style, hits the spot when it comes to roguelikes. Worth the money.
This is an easy recommendation to make. It's a great game overall. There's plenty of ships and characters to unlock. As well as a decent variety in weaponry. My only real complaint would be the length of the levels. You only get 10 minutes per round. The Developer has said that they plan on making an Endless Mode, so at least that's something. It would be nice to have the option for a 20 minute round. But it is what it is. Still, it's a lot of fun to play. And that's all that really matters.
I’ve been having a blast with this game. I really like the variety of ships, upgrades and astronaut combinations. Mixing and matching different setups actually changes how the game feels, and it keeps every run fresh. The Dev is also incredibly quick when it comes to fixing bugs and pushing updates. It’s clear they’re actively listening to feedback and genuinely care about improving the game. If you enjoy experimenting with different builds and want a game that’s challenging but also a lot of fun, this is one of those games.
