Coryphaeus Championships has potential, but it currently falls short in key areas that could make or break its success. The gameplay mechanics are solid, but they aren't strong enough to carry the entire experience. One of the biggest drawbacks is the lackluster UI, which feels clunky and outdated. This makes navigation frustrating, and the overall experience less immersive. Character design is another weak point. With only a few customization options, the available characters aren't visually appealing, leaving players wanting more variety and better aesthetics. Additionally, the game could benefit from a comprehensive tutorial, as new players are often left confused about how to properly engage with the game’s mechanics. Since Coryphaeus Championships is a new release, it’s difficult to find matches against other players. Although the game automatically pairs you with bots, which helps but doesn’t fully solve the issue. Despite these problems, there’s a glimmer of potential here, and with improvements, this game could become something worth revisiting. At its current state, however, I would have to label it as a "This game is bad". I hope the developers take this feedback seriously and work toward refining the experience because it could turn into something great down the line.
Warning: Third Party Account This game requires you to create a third party "Epic Games" account... there's no valid reason for this in a PC game when SteamWorks is available. This is often done to harvest private data and profile you, with potential sale and transmission of your private data to third parties. The developers will probably argue that you can trust them, but if they were trustworthy they wouldn't demand you create a third party account. Epic Games is partially owned by Chinese interests (Tencent) and has a notably terrible history for privacy and security. This represents a considerable risk to gamers due to the privacy and security implications of developers that wish to bypass Steam and harvest user data. Remember, sometimes if the product is free, YOU are the product.

Warning: Microtransaction infested mobile app! This game is infested with a toxic mobile app style cash shop. You will be prompted to and expected to give money to the developers through this cash shop to buy in-game goods so you can play the game.

Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, soulless AI generated content.
Coryphaeus Championships is one of thousands of nasty mobile apps infesting the "free" section of Steam, but it's not really free. There's only a superficial "game" here. But it gets worse, so much worse. This is truly amazing. Almost everything that could be wrong with a game is condensed here in this single abandoned early access cash shop infested mobile app disaster. Truly, I don't think gaming could get any worse than this cancer. Yes, at face value this does look as if it's an almost genuine attempt to make a real mobile app card game, but that deliberate and misleading illusion couldn't be further from the truth. So really, the mobile app "game" is just a veneer, a thin skin wrapped around a nasty, predatory mobile app cash shop. Thus, the true purpose of this mobile app is to get you to hand your credit card details to the greedy mobile devs so you can buy stuff in the nasty cash shop... it shouldn't be considered a real game because it's a mobile app cash harvester, and has no place in your game library. Putting that toxic mobile app monetisation aside... this is a mobile app. I didn't spend thousands on a gaming PC so I could pretend it's an iPhone, and I don't think you did either... this kind of mobile app has no place in your Steam library. The developers abandoned this 4 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. Despite not being able to finish the game, the developers apparently had all the time in the world to build a working cash shop microtransaction system and financial transaction back end into the game. That shows the developers primary goal was just to set out to gouge cash from Steam gamers just like mobile devs do with mobile peasants. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 5 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
Coryphaeus Championships is still under production, so this review is before the game is fully developed. I will return for a full review afterward to give the game a fair shake. Playability - Strong, but it need more of a fan base to grow and become consistent. Graphics- Kind of cartoonist, but not really in a bad way. You are spending way more time trying to win. Meta is a little challenging to grasp at first; this is its biggest downfall. However, the developers are aware of this, and it's being worked on as an improvement. Cost- Free, and this is big. This game costs nothing to own all cards immediately. So, your chance of winning is not based on paying money and based on skill instead. Overall- The game is fun to play but challenging to master. The community is helpful and growing. All in all, once you figure out the basics, and spend more than (0.3) hours on it before you review it; you will love it.
This game is absolutely worth a shot! The dev is still working out kinks as they are found and actively works on improving the game! No luck based winning, just straight outplaying your opponents!
Profesyonel oyun için tasarlanmış bağımsız bir kart oyunu. Kartlar için ödeme yapmayı veya uğraşmayı unutun. TÜM KARTLARIN KİLİDİ AÇIK ve kötü çekilişler yok. Her gün resmi turnuvalarda oynayın. Alternatif Sanatları takas edin ve satın. Mütevazı grafikler her güncellemede gelişiyor.
Very fun game, lots of interactions and things to learn as well as many fun strategies. Tons to explore and is actively being improved upon daily
this game is amazing i highly recomend it for anyone who likes strategy and card games, its like chess but also like gwent and hearth stone! its a brand new and fresh experience and really fun! great for streaming! i highly reccomend! also the devolper is highly receptive and responsive to feed back!
I lost to the dev so I gotta make this lousy review Jokes aside the game has been fun so far and the 100% Skill No RNG part has made me feel more confident but also think more about my own plans rather than chalking it up to randomness ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me over. Would definitely recommend this game if you're looking for more of a challenge in card games rather than worrying about pulls or losing to chance
i will definitely say the main point that massively interested me is the trading system more card games need that feature, the other cool feature is where u can see ur character while playing the game itself, another good aspect of the game was the different card borders. I wasnt a big fan on having all cards accessible because they you can learn strategies to easily and possibly counter them to easy, the only thing i found broken was the store, I clicked it and i couldnt go back i had to close the game completely but it does have many ups then downs (I have spoken to dev and they did state the back button was just hidden)
