Corruption Ranch

I bought this game thinking it was in Early Access, but it's not. I don't want to encourage people to charge money for games in this state, even $4, so I refunded. Hot idea, but don't bother cluttering your Steam library with this.

Definitely has the look and feel of a very scaled-down version of the now free-to-play/free to download, never really completed H-game "Breeding Season". Not many options, no audio, limited h-scenes, and not many places to explore. I'm sure it will get old quick, but, hey, it's only three bucks...

So I played a few hours of this game and I can't in good faith recommend this game for what I've read in other reviews and discussions and what I played this game has a lot of bugs quest lines and the developer doesn't seem to have the intentions on finishing it and fixing the bugs it can be fun at first though if y'all want an hour or fun for like 4 bucks this is a decent pickup other than that I would stay away

Corruption Ranch is one of the most visually impressive and unexpectedly deep games I’ve played. The graphics are stunning, sharp lighting, subtle weather effects, and incredibly atmospheric environments that evolve as you progress. It looks great at first, and somehow keeps getting better. Beneath the surface, there’s a rich and layered story that unfolds through gameplay, not exposition. You’re not just running a ranch, you’re uncovering something bigger, and the game rewards attention to detail. Every upgrade, every choice pulls you further in. It’s polished, immersive, and genuinely hard to put down. Highly recommended if you want something that looks fantastic and actually has substance behind it. Negative reviews clearly dont know anything about games.

Pretty darn bare bones as it is. I hold hope that this game will receive updates. But with these kind of games... You never know. Edit. For the sake of telling my experiences I will add this: The game is as I said, pretty darn bare bones. But it does have content. Bugs: Glitch 1. Getting them out of the way. The wood bucket you see in town is supposed to be an NPC quest giver, but he is completely invisible save for the random large wood bucket on the side of the street. And after you do his quest it does nothing at all. But you now forever see "found a frog" after every visit to the lake. And yes if you start a new game this glitch continues and counts for its completion, you can get the frog before you even meet him. Collection of glitches caused by the same action. Saving and loading the game at any time will break the monster shop for that day. Saving and loading at any time with a low enough corruption will put a red -0 just above you heart until you take a shower or something to change it. Saving and loading while doing potion ladies quest/s will break them and not allow you to select any monster. The Breeding: The genetics system is where this game really shines when it comes to breeding. Whatever code they made, does a really good job of passing on desirable traits. The Scenes: Well, there are some scenes that are animated. Imps with Bunny, Imps with Rancher, Lobos with Rancher, Tentacle monster with Rancher. Imps are the only ones with a poorly animated harvesting scene. Most scenes are just drawn. Rancher with Zombie esk things, Rancher with Minotaurs, Lobos with Bunny, Roomie with Minotaur, Potion lady with imp this includes harvesting scenes like harvesting bunny girls, and harvesting lobos. Some scenes don't have color at all and look more like outlines like Rancher with Bunny, and the worst of all is bunny with bunny. I have not even attempted Imp with Imp, lobos with lobos, or lobos with Imp. And at this point I am pretty sure I know what I would get. NONE of these scenes other than the imp harvesting scene have a climax mind you. The monsters: The market only has 3 types of monster. All have randomized traits, skill levels, and color schemes (from a total of 4-5 different colors) With Imps taking the lead in color variation and lobos coming dead last. It is possible to breed the skin type over from the imps. I have read that the rancher can give birth to a new species, but I have yet to test that out. There is also the tentacle monster and the minotaurs. The "Story": I can see the roots of a story in the making. I can see some plot, but from what I have gotten to, there really is nothing more than that. As I stated before, I hold hope that this game will recieve updates. But all the evidence I see tells me this is all were are getting. However, be this the case or not, it is still very much worth the $4. This game feels like they chopped off a section of a much larger experience.

Feels very incomplete. It's kind of a pity I paid for the game only to find that the frog quest leads nowhere, the map feels empty, and it seems like there were plans for it to have more included but just... doesn't.

Buy it, set a timer for one hour, play the game, when the timer goes off, refund it. The game seems to be incomplete, but the developer has already moved on to another game. This would be a great investment if there was some commitment to constantly improving the game.

Fun but needs a lot of work.

it is ok. not much in the whole "fun_time" area. some things need a bit of work, like the fishing, and that cave in the back. it is there but cant interact with it. i do enjoy it a bit. with some touch up's it could be better.

Well... the premise seemed to be interesting but the execution is very undeveloped. It feels like this is a very early alpha version instead of a full game. Even if you reach max corruption nothing happens...? I think that there was potential but since there are no recent updates or even any update since release, there is no reason to even give it a try. Do not buy it. There is a free better game available on steam with the same premise but without corruption .
