“Corporate Cut” is a satirical adventure set in a bizarre hair-obsessed magazine company. As the new intern, you’ll experience the struggle to fit in while exploring the boundaries between conformity and innovation. Expect intricate lore, experimental game design, and of course… many hair puns!
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.

About
It’s your first day as the new intern at the Star Cut Magazine company and you notice very early that something is off: all the employees talk about hair, they have the same haircut, and no one is friendly to you. Moreover, they seem to have forgotten what innovation and originality are, together with the old spirit of the company. It’s time to step up and find out what the hair happened to the company…
You need to understand what is going on in the office and most importantly understand why you were hired if everyone treats you badly. Get to know the company’s story by talking to your colleagues and by exploring an office filled with environmental storytelling elements, combs, brushes, scissors, and “fishy” stuff…
Your colleagues seem to have lost their sense of initiative. There’s no better way to solve the issue than by showing your willingness and think out of the hair - pardon - out of the box. Complete the tasks you are assigned by solving fetch quests and environmental puzzles.
Corporate Cut is a small indie game made by 7 students coming together for the Game World Design course at ITU Copenhagen. We presented the game at TAGS, during the Copenhagen Gaming Week 2024, and won the award for “Best Student Game”. We also showcased the game at the Nordic Game Conference 2024 Malmö, Sweden. We are happy to share this little design experiment with you. If you wish to contact us directly, feel free to reach out via social media!

Garbage, I can't find the relevant magazine & the terrible performance just gave me headache. No sliders in the option to adjust rendering quality & the fps is kinda smoothly choppy. All character are hideous to look at, yuck. No charm or funny joke to be found. The supposedly hair obsess sarcasm don't feel like a joke I would laugh at, it felt like the game dev having fun at me hunting the joke that was never exist. Save yourself, avoid wasting your time on this. Seeing other review it felt like they just describing what was in the game rather than sharing their own experiences with it. Hmmm...

- Started the game - Got more offended here about my hair than in my entire life - Looked my self at the mirror - They were right - 10/10, who needs CoD
Fun and interesting take on accommodating to workplace environment and living two-haired work life. Hope to see the story continued as well as new and funny challenges.
I'm currently doing a challenge to play through a free game in every single category on steam. I then give an honest review using ChatGPT.
Game: 36 / 447 Category: Satire Hair-Raising Humor, But Not Much Substance" This very short game puts you in the shoes of an office employee who’s subjected to a follicle full of hair puns. And let me tell you, they comb through every single one. While it’s mildly amusing at first, it quickly tangles itself in repetition. Gameplay-wise, it’s just okay—there’s no real hair-raising excitement to be found. A glaring omission is the lack of a mouse sensitivity slider, which made things feel a little too unruly at times. A small adjustment like that could help smooth things out and avoid split ends in the experience. The concept is kind of funny, but the execution feels thin, like a bad comb-over. It’s not a terrible time, but it doesn’t really grow on you, either. Needs more substance to avoid being brushed aside. Not bad, but it’s not exactly head and shoulders above other satire games.
A charming little game! With great attention to detail if you take the time to look around. Nice dialogue that will make you chuckle a few times throughout the game! AND ITS FREE!
Corporate Cut is a hair-raising adventure! The satire is razor-sharp, and the corporate culture clashes are as twisted as a perm gone wrong. V - hairy fun!
Fun game with some good easter eggs hidden around the building.
Really interesting storyline as well as the overall vibe and need for thoughtful consideration of our actions. I really like the concept and enjoyed a bit of hairy/happy play
