oh that's
Apparently this game takes only 1-2 hours to complete. For me, it took 7 🤣 But I'm not unhappy about it at all! I enjoyed every bit of it and taking my time! Though MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS, 85% of puzzles were simple, but those 15% really kept me stumped for those other 6 1/2 hours 🤣
10/10 though! If you love puzzles, don't hesitate to play this!!

I think the only two complaints I have is:
1) the ending was stupid in my opinion; it didn't suit the rest of the game at all. I wish it had ended in a more creative way that fit why we were trapped. Instead it was just dumb and left me feeling like it wasn't worth escaping. and 2)
I really wish there had been more times that the guy talked during puzzles. There was only 1 specific puzzle where he spoke through it, and I think they really missed out on the chance to make this game really funny like that and come up with more puzzles that used his voice.
But still, even with a crappy ending and a missed opportunity, I still recommend this game! I will plan to go back soon to hopefully get 1 more achievement I need
(the 600 point minigame)
😂 Edit I DID IT! I FINALLY GOT IT!!!!! That achievement SUCKS!! 😭 But it's so rewarding when you finally get it!! I was so happyyyyyy!!!!! 🤣 Let's gooooooooooo!!!!!!! I hope you enjoy this game as much as I did!
Best of luck!!! 🥳

I wish criticisms of artistic works were made in this fashion more often. It was unironically pretty inspiring in that sense, especially as someone who grew to hate the witness the more I played it but also became a little obsessed with figuring out why that was. I think this game does a pretty good job of illustrating how the witness could have been a much better experience if it just had less repetitive content, leaned a little harder into its more interesting concepts, and offered a better incentive to keep playing it than just "more puzzles ahead!"
This should not be rated E for everyone. Parents, the ending is not kid friendly at all. I was extremely unhappy because the rest of the game was fine.
The Obelisk of Knowledge.
Short. Sweet. Hilarious. I stumbled on this game via a podcast recommendation of all things, and I was not disappointed. Despite it's seemingly one-note premise, this game is much cleverer than it first appears, and oftentimes strikes with quick-witted hilarity when you least expect it. In my case, I started writing
"Capitalism" in cursive
as a response to a comment the game had just made, which was not the correct to the puzzle but turned out to be *just correct enough* to be right, which just made the whole thing funnier. Definitely well worth a short afternoon spin. Just don't open the settings menu before doing the first puzzle, you will be VERY confused.
The Looker is a top-tier parody of The Witness and a breath of fresh air. The entire game was entertaining, including the main menu. I laughed out loud several times during my playthrough. After playing both, I can confidently say that despite it being considerably shorter, this is simply a better game than The Witness and a great comedic puzzle game in it's own right.
