Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really love this game! It’s basically a shop simulator but with a cozy-horror twist, a genre which I am super into! The gameplay can get pretty overwhelming at first because there’s so many things to do at once, like restocking shelves, organizing storage, checking out customers, cleaning the shop. All while trying not to get murdered by “ghosts”. What I loved most about the game is the story. A lot of shop simulator games I’ve played are primarily about the gameplay loop, so I was surprised by how much Corner Shop Nightshift actually invests in the story. I’m just sad the story is pretty short, but I still think it is meaningful anyway. After finishing the story, you can still continue playing and shift focus to expanding the shop, improving the store, and working towards getting a 5-star rating. It’s a nice way to keep the gameplay going, although I definitely found myself wishing there was more content.
Rating: 6/10 A cozy shop simulator featuring a compelling narrative and subtle horror elements. The atmosphere is well-crafted and the story direction is strong, but the gameplay loop ultimately left me wanting more. Store organization feels clumsy, and despite finishing the game with full marks in about 5–6 hours, I still hadn’t unlocked everything. It also suffers from frequent technical issues—including crashes, dialogue soft-locks, and incorrect button prompts when placing items. With some additional beta testing and bug fixing, this could be great. Despite the rough edges, I enjoyed my time with it and look forward to seeing what this team develops next!
Excellent game, I'm enjoying the mystery and the gameplay loop of running the store. I would like a few quality of life updates, like you being able to carry the mp and trash bag at all times and just select them with the number keys like you do the phone, but I suppose that's maybe unrealistic.
Been soft-locked twice now and only on day 2. I get having bugs but having to not only quit out, but to lose ALL my progress (since the game only saves when you end the day) is way too much. Game desperately needs some sort of autosave or manual save feature. Be careful when talking to customers. You can get into a dialog loop and the conversation never ends so you're forced to alt+f4 and lose ALL your daily progress.
Game runs pretty well with my basic laptop! I had to enable DX11 through launch options after a couple of crashes. Really enjoy the story and gameplay, makes for a really interesting experience.
A solid horror/simulation game that could still use a bit of polish, but stands strong neverthless.
