Continue is a mostly linear fast paced combat focused game with beautiful music and strong art style. It encourages fast and aggressive play style and learning enemy attack patterns, and when it works it flows beautifully. It's pretty challenging towards the later areas and sometimes when you make a mistake it can drain your life really fast. The game has an interesting aggression mechanic where the faster you deal damage without getting hit the more damage your attacks inflict, but the damage bonus drains pretty fast when you're not hitting anything.
Basically Dark Souls. You'll die a lot. If you want a simple yet pretty high skill ceiling speed running game, this is a pretty good fit for you. It'll give you all your moves right at the start of the game so basically all your progress in terms of skill will be all about you. The more aggressive and precise you are the faster you'll be. Boss fights are pretty challenging but at least no bed of chaos so that's a plus. Tough but fair. I'm rating it a 5/7.

It has a good soundtrack and I like the neon-glow art style. Especially the later levels have a nice atmosphere, even though the game focuses almost purely on combat. I haven't yet finished the game, but the couple bosses I've encountered so far have a nice selection of moves and progression. The only downside so far, is that the combat requires a bit too much accuracy for my liking. You increase your damage by staying on the offensive and not taking damage yourself and the bosses have a significant amount of health, so chipping it down took me a long time and several retries, when I couldn't keep the combo meter filled up, TL;DR It's a solid action game with good music and if you like fluid character movement and demanding combat then I would warmly recommend it.
I was in a dark place, but now my life can finally CONTINUE™
Game is boring, full of horrible designs, and technical problems. Turning the music volume down somehow fix a lag, you can easily get stuck inside walls during combat, boss can reset their entire life, hitboxes are not precise, you get hit before before the enemy plays the animation, dashes sometimes work, sometimes does not work, it seems random. Enemies reuse animations for two different types of attacks, patterns are not precise, character movement is very slow, there unexplained mechanics, like a stun, but does not work all times, and the combat upgrade, and the exploration is below minimal.
Programlarla dolu kaotik bir bilgisayar dünyasında yolunuzu kesin ve silin. Her programın bir amacı vardır, peki sizinki nedir?
Combat is incredibly unbalanced, and the game does a poor job of explaining its own mechanics
Originally a $9.99 game that went Free. I experienced a lot of soft lock issues. The most common was getting stuck in walls with no way of escape. There was also glitching where the character model would phase back and forth rapidly between the void and walls with no escape. I also had a Boss disappear but its health bar remains with no way to progress. Sometimes the walls have no contact and I would phase right through them into the void. Sometimes when I drained a boss's health bar too quickly it skipped its animations and unleashed multiple attacks at once. Does poorly at introducing some of the available abilities. I felt like it could have used a little bit of progression in the abilities to keep the gameplay interesting.
