Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Aug 14 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
BEING A TEENAGER SUCKS. So we made a videogame about it.
Hey remember when your parents, your friends, and society at large all conspired to make you feel ugly, lazy, stupid, and unloved despite the brilliant human spirit contained within you? No? Well, allow us to refresh your memory via the timeless medium of a slice-of-life role-playing game!
In Consume Me, you take on the role of Jenny, young, in love, and entering her final year of high school. Make meticulous scheduling decisions to maximize your glow-up! Solve the puzzle game of dieting! Evade distractions as you pursue scholarly success! Do chores to get money from mom at a rate much lower than minimum wage!
Can you win the heart of the boy of your dreams? Can you hold on to it? Can you chart a course towards a sustainable future? Can you fit just one more TODO goal on your plate, or is it already full to bursting? Most importantly, does any of this matter--either in the game, or in a broader sense? I don't have time to spoil the story here, so I'll just give you a free tip: if you have the spare money, buy some coffee at the corner store and drink it for an extra free-time unit.
A darkly funny coming-of-age story: You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll get a little hungry, sometimes all at the same time! Sorry about that!
Every meal a puzzle: Eat your lunch, but be careful not too eat too much. Also, try not to eat too little either. Throw any food you don't want to the dog. It's fine, she's not on a diet!
Gripping strategic decision making: A limited amount of time and an unlimited number of things to do!? This classic combination introduces the ultimate strategic question: How should you be spending your time? It's up to you to answer this question...every day of your life!
Obtain powerful equipment: Choose from a selection of garments that help you dress for success. But be warned, the armor of this world degrades after a mere single day of use...until you renew it via that ancient ritual known only as "laundry."
Over 13 possible endings: Most of them bad!

Hating yourself has never had so much mechanical depth. I fell in love with this game, and it quickly has become one of my favorite short games of all time. A 10/10 from me, and I recommend it to anyone who has watched the trailer and found the tone charming. It's absolutely worth it. The game feels like it was made for me. I love gameplay variety, so a wario-ware style game that is all minigames and managing simulation was exactly what I needed. No minigame felt like it overstayed its welcome in the gameplay loop, and each one makes you feel like you can slowly get better at it. The managing aspect of the game has an incredibly smooth learning curve, where at first you feel like you're getting the hang of it and by the last level of the game you put everything you've learned into practice, and it truly feels like a final boss of sorts. For me personally the difficulty level both mechanically and strategically felt just right, not too easy, not too hard. The story itself is both poignant and adorable, with some moments that actually made me laugh out loud, not just the first time but the second time through to get the achievements. There are also touching moments in the story that despite how goofy tone the game has, actually hit hard. Myabe it's because Jenny's story was so relatable, but when the low moments go low you feel the impact. Honestly a tiny masterpiece. No mechanic felt like it was bloating the gameplay, the story's pacing is basically perfect, and the "skill tree" if you can call it that felt like the perfect carrot on a stick for you to care about the progression system the game offers. I struggle to think of anyone who wouldn't have a good time with this.

THIS GAME IS SO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CUTE and also relatable and can be intense if you relate too much but i LOVE it
very cute artstyle and overall fun gameplay :3
super charming ! story weakens a bit post chapter 4, but still a blast !!
man this genuinely felt like my own experience growing up (minus the religion providing some relief, so I was just rawdogging it) - it's a very good narrative game with fun mini-games and I love the visuals and the music. It did crash once or twice on the Mac but otherwise it was pretty smooth.
Un jeu narratif avec un gameplay qui sert le propos et qui ne fait pas ajout de dernière minute mais composante essentielle du jeu. Bravo, et merci
Fun game with strong messages
very cute game!!
Just such a beautiful story about real people, by real people and for real people. THIS IS ART!!!!!!
