Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Aug 14 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
BEING A TEENAGER SUCKS. So we made a videogame about it.
Hey remember when your parents, your friends, and society at large all conspired to make you feel ugly, lazy, stupid, and unloved despite the brilliant human spirit contained within you? No? Well, allow us to refresh your memory via the timeless medium of a slice-of-life role-playing game!
In Consume Me, you take on the role of Jenny, young, in love, and entering her final year of high school. Make meticulous scheduling decisions to maximize your glow-up! Solve the puzzle game of dieting! Evade distractions as you pursue scholarly success! Do chores to get money from mom at a rate much lower than minimum wage!
Can you win the heart of the boy of your dreams? Can you hold on to it? Can you chart a course towards a sustainable future? Can you fit just one more TODO goal on your plate, or is it already full to bursting? Most importantly, does any of this matter--either in the game, or in a broader sense? I don't have time to spoil the story here, so I'll just give you a free tip: if you have the spare money, buy some coffee at the corner store and drink it for an extra free-time unit.
A darkly funny coming-of-age story: You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll get a little hungry, sometimes all at the same time! Sorry about that!
Every meal a puzzle: Eat your lunch, but be careful not too eat too much. Also, try not to eat too little either. Throw any food you don't want to the dog. It's fine, she's not on a diet!
Gripping strategic decision making: A limited amount of time and an unlimited number of things to do!? This classic combination introduces the ultimate strategic question: How should you be spending your time? It's up to you to answer this question...every day of your life!
Obtain powerful equipment: Choose from a selection of garments that help you dress for success. But be warned, the armor of this world degrades after a mere single day of use...until you renew it via that ancient ritual known only as "laundry."
Over 13 possible endings: Most of them bad!

Played it nonstop till completion. Great game.
I looove the minigames. Such a massive banger
I finished the game in about 9 hours and I absolutely HATED putting it down!! The mechanics are engaging without being frustrating but still challenging, I especially loved how it all just added up by the end. Each chapter's "goals" captured the intended overwhelmed feeling of balancing so many adolescent expectations so well. The story is a chef's kiss, when I realized how the real life photos were being used at the end I was very moved. I wasn't entirely sure where the story was going at first but it felt personal, heartfelt, universal to growing up, and somehow still so silly and mood-lifting. Both my partner and my best friend have a mom just like Jenny's, where I have essentially gone no contact with mine; I loved seeing how a complex relationship like theirs doesn't mean a lack of love, just in a way that can still hurt and heal deeply. Stories like these are so important to share. Thank you <3

Great game. Relatable, the narrative/gamified balance is well done. I always wanted to play a little bit more. As a starting game dev struggling to enter the industry the epilogue touched me.
I enjoyed this. I didn't find the church portions of the narrative, which didn't land for many of the negative reviewers, to be very pro-Christianity, similarly to how the dieting portions of the narrative weren't really pro-dieting. ymmv I found the time-management system to be fun but almost hilariously abusable (towards the endgame I was expanding most days with two time slots into days with 10+ activities, which decreased the feeling of time-crunch gravity somewhat)
Bonito juego. Se nota mucho al final que es autobiográfico que bacán igual poder hacer algo así............ con tu vida........................
I just loved this game. First of all, the mechanics are part of the narrative. The story is told through the minigames and it's just amazing how it manages to make you feel what the character feels just through the gameplay. The story is very relatable and sincere and the art is so gorgeous. I'm so glad I picked this one up.
Foam Me !!!
This game hit close to home for me. As someone who has gone through everything the character in game has I must say I felt like I was watching my own life in a video game. The cute graphics and fun gameplay was definitely a wonderful addition to the story. This was a very thought out game and if you love cute but deep meaningful indie games I definitely recommend this. Already played through the story twice and I’m not disappointed one bit. Runs very well on the Steam deck as well and had no issues whatsoever! Gameplay lasted about 5-8 hours depending on how meticulous you are and every second was worth it. 10/10 recommend this game and I can’t wait to see what the future brings for the artist and creators who made this amazing game!
