Sehr schönes Spiel! Kann man nur weiter empfehlen!!!
**Recommended** I received a review copy of Conquest Dark through Keymailer. As always, getting a free copy doesn't change my opinion. If I don't like a game, I'll say it. Thankfully... that wasn't the case here. Conquest Dark ended up being one of my favorite survivor-like games that I've played in a while. I knew I was probably going to enjoy it within the first couple of minutes. You literally start with nothing. No armor, no weapons... just your fists. Then you spot a skeleton carrying a weapon, beat him up, steal his gear, and that's basically the beginning of your adventure. I don't know why, but I thought that was a really cool way to start the game. Instead of just surviving endless waves forever, you're actually completing rituals. You fight through hordes of enemies, level up, find gear, upgrade abilities, defeat bosses, and eventually finish the ritual before moving on. I really liked having an actual goal instead of just surviving until I got bored. One of my favorite things is that your gear actually changes how your character looks. It sounds simple, but I always appreciate games that let me see my character getting stronger instead of just watching numbers go up. I've only scratched the surface so far, but it already feels like there's a lot here. Different gear sets, different abilities, plenty of ways to experiment with builds, multiple environments, mini-bosses, full bosses... every run feels like I'm finding something new. The atmosphere is also fantastic. The darker art style works really well, and the world has a gritty fantasy feel that immediately pulled me in. I also noticed there's an AI build system that lets you share and try different builds. I haven't really messed with it yet, but I think it's a really cool feature to include, especially once the community starts putting together some crazy combinations. Honestly... this is one of those games I find myself playing even when I'm not recording videos. To me, that's usually a pretty good sign. If you're a fan of survivor-likes, action RPGs, or games that let you constantly experiment with different builds, I think Conquest Dark is absolutely worth checking out. --- If you're interested in seeing my full thoughts, I also have a **RawImpressions** review on YouTube. I cover honest gaming reviews, first impressions, and trailer reactions over there if that's your kind of thing.
Absolute chaos with a very deep build system. Great game!
After eight hours, the game just deleted all of my progress.
Boring. It feels like I can easily get the same items every round. There's not really a "build system", you can however increase certain stats such as crit chance. The grind is to collect gems that dosen't make the game more interesting (increase dmg by 2% ect...). The printscreen of character selection led me to believe you get a random character every run and have to adjust accordingly but you can actually just choose whatever items you want. The progression system is not impressive - It's basically the same exact mission with very slight variation of modifiers(that dosen't seem to matter) and mapcolor. If you are brand new to these types of games and don't have a refference maaaaybe you would enjoy it.
Great visuals, atmosphere, design, and ideas. There’s plenty to upgrade, experiment with, and refine until your builds are strong enough to push past Tier 20 in the arena and keep mowing down mobs endlessly. The variety of skills, gear, and artifacts is enormous. I’d love to see even more content and gameplay options in the future, but this is a project developed by a single developer, so that’s completely understandable. Wishing you lots of inspiration and success going forward!
Just a solid game
