Pushing towers to connect them, a bit mundane. in Connected Towers you have to power towers by using other towers. Sometimes you have to make a chain of towers. Quite dull, but I can imagine this can be fun for very young children or for people who are mentally challenged, and I mean this sincere. Connected Towers is a low effort, low poly/voxel art style Sokoban ripoff, but with a bit more player agency as you move around a 3D rendered puzzle level pushing various towers around. This achieves the goal of "powering" other towers which will open doors or make platforms move around to you, so you can get your little lazy untextured robot polygons to the exit zone and play another level. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The game features lazy low-polygon voxel "Minecraft"-like "art", making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. A lot of amateur developers see Minecraft's success and assume it's because it looks bad, not because it had unique and appealing game mechanics, and they try to emulate the success without understanding it. It also happens to be easy, and doesn't need any proper talent in terms of game development/graphic artists etc. That's why reviewers are faced with so many of these terrible games with confrontingly bad graphics. Developers must learn that Minecraft succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. Connected Towers is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam.

27 simple puzzles that take less than an hour of your time. If you're looking for something challenging this isn't it. Puzzles are more tedious than they are challenging but the game is a decent experience for puzzle lovers. Level design could use some work. Lots of redundant nodes but I'm not sure if they're intentional just to confuse you. On level 10 or 11 (I can't remember) you didn't even have to open the last gate, there is an opening at the back. Again, not sure if intentional for speedrunning or just overlooked. Puzzle solving experience could have been much smoother if there was a way to get a bird's eye view of the map so you didn't have to go back and forth on some maps to see which node did what. All in all seems more like a test game than anything though I see potential for a level editor for community made levels. Would add more challenging puzzles given how creative people can be. Maybe more types of nodes? Lots of potential for great puzzles if this game is going to get developed further though it doesn't seem likely.

This simple game is meh but became repetitive and annoying on the 10th level. This game was a waste of my time. 2/10 For more short reviews check out this: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/Gaming_made_cheap
cool and simple.
I don't even know how this game ended in my library but i enjoyed every level
Another Mannings game, and one of the more accessible ones for oldies like me. For some reason loads of people give up after level 8, and it just starts getting challenging at that point. But it's a simple game, solid and simple.
Story
You play as a cute little robot but there isn't really a story line to follow. Maybe it would have been nice if there was a little bit of text at the beginning to explain why the robot wants to move satellites to get to the finish line, but it doesn't detract from the game at all.
Gameplay
You are a robot that must connect satellites together to solve puzzles. Sometimes activating satellites will open a door, and sometimes it will move a platform. The puzzles are very easy, except for the last few missions which are slightly harder. The last few missions are actually the most enjoyable because they add a sense of danger to the environment, and some moving platforms that must be dodged in order to finish the level. This game would be best suited for children but I still enjoyed it as an adult.
Achievements
There are 27 achievements in total. This game took less than 1 hour to complete, and you receive an achievement for each level you finish. It's a very easy game but it offers enough of a challenge to make it feel worth your time.
Overall Opinion
Connected Towers is cute and fun. The missions are very easy but it's still enjoyable. I think it's the perfect price considering the time it takes to complete it 100%. The game runs flawlessly on the Steam Deck and that's how I played it. My one bit of advice to the developer would be not to hide the satellites under the bridge in the last level. I understand this is probably done to make the level harder, but it's just frustrating trying to move them when you can't see what you're doing. That's my only complaint, I recommend this game.
