What I loved 🖤 There isn't much i didn't love about this game, the graphics were insane. I don't have the best pc and the game looked better than any AA title I've played recently. It ran really smoothly too. Some of the in game features i really loved was the game saving station OH MY GOD i think that is such a truly unique way to save your progress. I really loved the unique way to hide from the monsters . as soon as i saw you could collect wood to build barriers i was shocked at the out of the box idea as most horror games just use hiding mechanics that are pretty simple. What didn’t work for me ❌ Sometimes i felt like the puzzles were confusing and there wasn't a hint system implemented. I wasn't able to get past the puzzle table which cut my experience short, however i will be reattempting it soon followed with he chapter 2 demo so hopefully it was just me being silly rather than the game being hard . Scariest moment 😱 Literally all of the game was so eerie i couldn't not feel on edge the entire time. not knowing when the monster is going to spawn and chase you.... wow truly insane, especially when breaking down doors and hearing the monster coming.

Great horror game, can't wait to play the next parts
Confronted is a very well-crafted game, considering it was created by a solo developer! It revolves around a woman who's in search of her husband after receiving his desperate plea. The game has a very thrilling atmosphere and what I'd say is a very cool, unique mechanic—it's a typical survival horror game where you can't fight, and the only way to survive is to run and hide. This game gives you a unique way of doing so: you collect wood and build yourself a cover to hide from enemies. Very cool! Graphics and VO are very polished. The story seems really promising too!
I love what I've played of Confronted so far - the sound ambience is top notch and spooky, visuals and level design reminds me of Amnesia (in a good way), and the hide-and-build mechanic adds a different layer of fear to the game play ("omgomgomgomg build quicker!!!"). I had a blast in the first chapter, and can't wait for future updates.
What I didn’t expect was how much the story would resonate. The themes of manipulation and narcissistic abuse are woven into everything — the monster, the castle, Dorinela’s whole journey. It uses horror to say something real, and that’s rare. Recommended
Played the demo a while ago and really liked the concept and mechanics, so I decided to give the (almost) full game a try now that Chapter 2 released. I enjoyed it a lot! The environments are beautifully built, the visuals look great, the sound design and voice acting are solid, and the story hooked me within the first few minutes. Looking forward to Chapter 3!
I like the Castle and the Ivy Monster good game.
An indie developer horror game set in a nicely atmospheric castle environment. The game features good lighting and a creepy moody throughout, so you never feel settled. Features an interesting story, and some neat features. It's creepy, with a good 'helpless' feel, so if Amnesia or Outlast do it for you, this would suit your taste. It's also a suitable game for those new to horror, who want to dip their feet. It's not easy, nor too difficult, and will make a good game on full release. Note: Early access, but saw no bugs - so looking good!
