"Concentration" is a fine entry in the "pointless waste of space" section of Steam Direct... just like it says on the box, this is "Memory", for 2 players. Remember where the matching pairs are and collect more pairs than the other player. Here's the perhaps obvious twist... there are no players, because this is garbage. It's not even made well. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. This game features very lacklustre minimalist "art" for graphics instead of anything remotely contemporary. I'm sure the "developer" thought this would come across as "artistic", but it doesn't, it comes across as "really lazy". Yes, contemporary 3D graphics take a lot of time and effort to create. That doesn't mean it's okay not to bother! Developers must try to understand that gaming is a visual medium, and gamers spend a lot of money on high end gaming rigs for a reason. And that reason is not so they can look at lazy, phoned-in half efforts like this. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. The poor quality of this game is also reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the game all-time peak user count was only ONE person. That's right, only one person ever used this at a time. When I tried this for the purposes of reviewing it, I equalled the peak user count for the product. OUCH. The only user activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 130 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality product is to be expected. Given that this free title won't increase your game collector count, is it worth your time to add it to your library? I think you should give this one a miss. Although it's free, your time and storage are valuable resources, and the market is filled with superior options.

Мне нравится, что игра подходит для любого возраста, от детей, тренирующих внимание, до взрослых, желающих развлечься и поддержать когнитивные функции. Минималистичный дизайн и понятный интерфейс делают игру доступной и приятной. Разные уровни сложности позволяют постепенно повышать свои навыки. Единственное, чего мне не хватает, это возможности настраивать внешний вид карточек и фона. Добавив такую опцию, можно было бы сделать игру еще более персонализированной и увлекательной. В целом, Concentration - это прекрасный выбор для коротких сессий отдыха или тренировки мозга. Рекомендую всем, кто ищет простую, но эффективную головоломку!
