Community College Hero: Fun and Games

I got to last minute demo this game for free which was really cool. I still bought it on my phone because I like reading stories on there more (and like for on the subway travel). I've been playing the OVERALL demo since the first one came out so I'm very happy with how this all turned out. From the voting process of the types of stories we would see, to the final execution. It really focuses on character interactions and a little bit more freedom of how your MC can interact with others outside the traditional/charmer/jokester/brooder archetypes. I guess more natural, but still funny at times since CCH was always more of a comedy super hero fic (in comparison to something more srs like fallen hero/wayhaven chronicles/etc). It add character interactions that I feel were left out in book 2. So as somehow who is reading the demo for book 3, it does help a lot. Esp with the Afterthoughts. This book comes with 3 unlockable short stories for 3 NPCs. One of them is for Dr. Hover, which is also my favorite. You get to interact more with him, Friendzone (briefly), Quickie, Rain, and Shine. Even though the reason as to why Quickie hates us so much still hasn't been mentioned in canon yet exactly (jealous he's not the main character). Family day is defiantly my fav out of the three minigames. You get to learn little fun facts about the cast, interact with your mom, and the teachers. There's a lot of replay-ability with that one because of all the different point factors/options/who to talk to/etc. The ending of that one really thickens the plot of who you can trust in book 3 too lmao. Overall the CCH is comedy super hero fiction. It can get a little serious at times, usually at the books' endings. That's when the weight of the world makes itself known and the characters go 'oh my god jfc'. But it's ultimately camp.

Nothing too substantial, but it's a nice bite-sized adventure while it lasts. Leans a bit too heavy on foreshadowing things we already know are going to happen, but it's still a fun time.
