Command Ops 2 is a wargame engine that lets you assess, plan, order and react at the operational level just like a real Corps, Division and Brigade commander. What sets Command Ops 2 apart from the competition is the most advanced and realistic model of command decision-making.

it good
For fans of the genre, "Command Ops 2" is a great game that really deserves an upgrade, especially graphically. Obviously, the game requires a bit of learning, but the accompanying manual is really well done. I highly recommend it.

Love this game, really unique and well made. I spent so much time looking for a realistic operational-level strategy game and this really seems to be the best / only option. Bit of a learning curve, but not bad if you use YouTube videos to guide you through the Tutorial. The free core game has 50 - 60 hours of content easily (if you play all three scenarios as both Axis and Allies)
Great game. Don't be too put off by the learning curve. Panther games has provided some very good tutorials you can follow along with while playing the game and unlike many computer wargame manuals, this one is extremely well written and easy to follow. It does an excellent job of explaining the various aspects of the game. I read through the entire thing with the game open and practiced various moves and operations as I did so. I gained an increasing appreciation for all this game has to offer as I went. Get the game and follow the tutorials. That will give you enough familiarity with the rules to understand the manual. Read through it and if you're as impressed as I am, buy a DLC. They're a little pricey but the core game is free so it kind of balances out. Also, the DLC's come on sale on a fairly regular basis and contain several scenarios each.
