Command: Modern Operations is the next generation in cross-domain modern wargaming. It enables you to simulate every military engagement from post World War II to the present day and beyond. The scale is primarily tactical/operational, although strategic scale operations are also possible.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I was thinking of buying this game for so so long because it looks really juicy with all the options and what not. Sadly, today was the day when I was very dissapointed. First and foremost what killed me were layers. Thing that kills immersiveness the most is the fact that terrain quality is really really bad once you zoom in. Second thing is lack of infantry in this game - yeah I know what you'll say - it is vehicles, planes and ships, but for me it is lack of infantry that killed it. I wouldn't mind having no infantry if at least all the factions had units. I've noticed that a lot of factions have either 1 or no units available for use. I don't know if I understood it right, but that's what I saw in game. All that wouldn't mind if I had some kind of topo view (Free topo in game is also poor quality in game) that is "HQish" and all the other issues I stated wouldn't mind. I truly had high hopes for this game, I really liked it. I truly hoped that would be it. I was 1 cm away from buying 3d view. EDIT: After many days, I've receive information that this game is on discount and decided to give it another try. I've contacted community about textures/layers and again - after some hours I've finally managed to import layers into the game, making it much more HD and much more fun. I absolutely love this game, enjoy it and with 2 screens I feel like I'm some general in HQ. I would truly love to see some actual infantry in game - or I just haven't find it yet haha. All in all - I love it.
Best wargame I've ever played. Like working for the Pentagon. Should require a national security level clearance. ------------------------------ Get in now before AI becomes impossible to track. Delta and Maven. (May they never meet outside Moscow or Beijing) Because this is the 'game' they'll be playing. Enders has got nothiing on this. Real-time war-tracking testing by weapon system collision platforrm for operational level planning. It's a billion dollar demoltion deby! Play along at home with the big wigs in joint chiefs of staff. This game thrills, chills and occassonally scares me, Historical sims have not nothing on The Enforcer with a CSIS chaser. This is the game I use to to figure out what the likes of: Perun, Wes O'Donnell, Cappy or Dennis Denisoff- are talking about. This is for live history deep dive military nerds who want to have the right equations. And lots and lots of numbers. Only thing this game really is missing are spread sheets and charts. Just one big map of the world instead of Seapower graphics. With every weapon, sensor and delivery system currently in existance with CIA level spec sheet guestimates on it. This is war math. With no pretty pictures. And if that doesn't scare you, nothing will.
