Command: Modern Air/Naval Operations is the ultimate military simulator for modern military conflicts. Designed with a huge emphasis on detail, realism, accuracy and flexibility, Command allows you to simulate and direct any historical or hypothetical air or naval engagement from 1945, at any scale, including strategic nuclear war.

Bate and switch!!! What a rip off.... They release this and then stop support and expect us to pay more for there next version of Command: Modern Operations..... Huge rip off and very sorry I payed for this...
Command? There is nothing and no one to command here. You are essentially micromanaging a bunch of mindless drones. The human element of warfare is completely ignored. Soldiers, pilots, captains, officers et al - their abilities, experiences, personalities, is a critical factor in outcome of battles as well as in command and control, has been for thousands of years. None of that is present here. Ignoring such a fundamental and decisive aspect of warfare makes this wholly unrealistic as a "simulator". On top of that, the simulator has an atrocious UI reminiscent of a poorly designed 90's business application rather than a modern wargame, bombarding the user with mostly useless information. Overall the experience comes no where close to real world military command. A failure as a wargame.

I can understand why you removed CMANO from the store. But why you aren't allowing buying the remaining campaigns (DLC) for those who already have this game? Look at the X-Plane 10 - not available and not needed anymore, but the old users can still buy this old stuff, which is fine because they're obviously aware it is outdated.
Having played Harpoon, a myraid of other combat and rts sims i'm struck by the largely dense and poorly designed UI. The Larry Bond's UI designer did a far better job of it Secondly the game and movement in the map space is just plain awful and discouraging. It's like having a brand new video card with no drivers installed, using the base drivers. Instead of fluid movement as you drag your way around the map (a'la Google Maps), you get this pause before the map shifts 1cm. and yes the dozens of games i've played on this machine work just fine. it's not my machine. It's this poorly developed software that is passing itself off as a mil sim. And the music, godawful. It's the same 4 bars, over and over and over and over and over and over. With the occasionally banal launch sound as you fire off weapons. Having worked a myraid of business systems it boggles my mind that the UI in this game makes the provisioning platform i use every day far more exciting. Seriously unless you want to punish yourself don't buy this "game"
Though it's not sold on Steam anymore, those who have this title probably, like me, experience significant performance issues. Ghosting of text over the map, stuttering and artefacts all take away from a potentially engrossing title.
If you liked Harpoon, computer version or otherwise, you will love this. If you aren't familiar with modern sensors and weapons systems, you will probably not enjoy this. The learning curve would be steep.
