Command & Conquer™ Generals Zero Hour

Why is such an old game being sold at such a high price? That's my first question. Second, why can't I buy only what I actually need? Why does the platform force me to buy something I don't want?

This is really the game that started it all for me. In 2003 I visited my great uncle in Texas who was playing this. I hadn't played any RTS games prior but was so hooked by the approachable unit commands/selection, music, and voice acting. I remember throwing a fit after being told I wasn't allowed to play for the day, but was able to convince my dad to open the menu and let me watch the shell-map for a few minutes only; If that doesn't highlight the power of videogame addiction I'm not sure what will. It's as tragic as it is ironic that many of the satirical themes and warnings of this game have been allowed to transpire in reality.

Doesnt start anymore since Windows 11 Update. I am by faaar not the only one with that problem. Its garbage now.

No Generals 2 needed. No remaster needed. We already have Generals Online with a fully working QUICKMATCH! I’m addicted like its 2009 again. Finding a match takes around 10 seconds, which is insane for a game this old. There’s even a ranking system now. Huge respect to the developer community for keeping the game alive. You wouldnt believe how much work they put into it. They analyze crashed matches, release fixes regularly, keep improving the online experience, and this is only the beginning. Obviously game is not ready to play after downloading on steam, you need genpatcher which will do all the work for you. Its all about few clicks, no hardcore tinkering needed.

you cant play online and the only online downloader i tried to do was a scam and a crypto farm dont play

Я не знаю кто сидит там на контроле качестве, что не могли понять что некоторые игры под новые системки тупо не смогут запуститься. Так и вопрос к людям у которых положительные отзывы. Так как я при своей винде, ну и уж не совсем на старье сижу, у меня игра вылетает стабильно при резких множество эффектах, или раз в 20 минут. Так я сначала думал что я один такой, но нет, это массовая херь. Они просто закинул целый пак старых игр, с тех времён и такие "пусть сами танцуют под бубны и страдают".
