This is the kind of Roguelike we need more of. We don't need more deck builders where you pay to God himself that the one card you need hasn't taken a holiday leave to Brazil during your most important battle or that the boss who randomly got selected counters your entire build. Instead, everything you choose is ALWAYS active. The luck is tied entirely to the RNG of building choices and nothing more. It's beautiful! Losing due to bad luck is not how I go down. It's a missed synergy or an incorrectly placed building that's entirely on me. The factions are all super well balanced, each having a collection of paths to victory within them. Unlocks do nothing more than make your job easier rather than preventing your ability to win until you reach a higher level. Map seeds guide, but do not entirely decide which factions you can play. The secret factions have fairly obvious routes to unlock, you just have to create the right setups to get them. I'm having problems even finding anything within this game to label as bad. It's a very relaxing and addictive roguelike where luck takes more of a backseat to your own knowledge of the game and city management. The worst thing I can say is that I wish there was more, but it's not a negative. The game was cheap, fun, and I definitely got my money's worth out of it. For once I could just enjoy a roguelike without getting screwed over due to luck 2 hours in on some absolute nonsense. Bite sized, roguelike, city building fun. I'd give it a solid 9/10. One last funny thing I wanted to mention, placing a Jeweler next to railroad tracks makes the Jeweler count itself as 'adjacent' and it can eat itself. Not sure that's intentional, but it was funny to stumble upon. "Ah yes! I can increase the range of my Jeweler so it can eat more buildings and increase the value of my heirlooms... *Pop* What? Where did the Jeweler go?" Luckily I didn't need that Jeweler.

Roguelike city builder with some rather interesting concepts on how to go about it. Very in depth, and will be hard to 100% for your achievement hunters out there. 4.5 out of 5.
Fun game
First 2 runs were not too impressive, but BOY once you start unlocking new stuff, the possibilities for galaxy-brain run-defining synergies start to unfold. The first time I realized the insane potential of Ghost Paint to create an ungodly combination that scored 100k points a turn, I knew this game has *The Sauce*
Great game, lots of fun, can't wait for more
makes my brain go burr. if you like combinations and building little islands this is the game for you
Pretty good so far.
+ Can build nice combos ++ Enjoyable + Easy to learn -- Very high level of randomness - Sometimes UI covers part of the map
This game is extraordinarily fun. The fact that each of the guilds has multiple different win conditions off the many different upgrade paths you can find / take, only compounded by the Council & heirlooms giving you some direction & fun bonuses makes it so fun to play. I find myself hungry to dive in and find something new to explore every time I turn it off, and it continues to be endlessly entertaining The addition of endless mode allows you to play out some ridiculous late game dream plays, similar to the endless mode in Balatro If you enjoy number go up games, this is 100% worth the $10.
游戏很不错,不过难度有点低。 Awesome game, but the difficulty level is low for hardcore gamers.
