Colony Defense - Tower Defense

As someone who has played tower defence games for decades, Colony Defense immediately felt familiar, but in a good way. The core gameplay sticks to the classic formula of placing towers, upgrading them and carefully planning your defence, yet the neon-inspired presentation gives it a fresh, modern identity that stands out from many other games in the genre. Don't expect this one to hold your hand, though. Colony Defense expects you to think strategically from the very beginning. The difficulty ramps up quickly, and success comes from understanding your towers and planning ahead rather than simply filling the map with defences. I also found the colour-based tower system interesting, and while I was still experimenting with exactly how it all worked, it certainly encouraged me to think more carefully about my placements. I've already recorded two videos on the game and fully intend to play more, which probably says everything you need to know. It offers plenty of replayability, the asking price is very reasonable, and it's one of those games that kept tempting me back for "just one more attempt." What genuinely surprised me is how little attention the game has received so far. At the time of writing, despite releasing on 22nd April 2026, it has just a single Steam review. I honestly think it deserves a much bigger audience. If you're looking for a challenging, modern take on classic tower defence gameplay, Colony Defense is well worth checking out. Tom Recommends. 💜

Полноценная товер дефенс. С помощью одной башни пройти не получится, немного нужно подумать. Из минусов могу только отметить крайне неудобную реализацию размещения башен, периодически они ставятся не туда куда нужно, а куда нужно не ставятся, хотя места много.
