I liked how this game looks when I bumped on it at Steam. Low poly graphics always tickles my nostalgia. But gameplay dissapointed me at first, like a atractive girl that shows some of her flaws on first date. Maybe I expected too much. Anyway I decided to give it a chance and, aside of it's flaws and shortcomings, it is quite enjoyable small experiece.

I was a bit torn on this one. The first impression with cold vengeance is "my first unity project", as it does look very rough and unpolished and not trying to look professional....but it works! The author focused on the coherence of his game, both story wise, technical wise, and gameplay wise. And this is more important than trying to be like a pro game. This could be regarded as a lesson in game design. Unfortunately the more you play and the more the shortcomings get in the way. Notably the awful camera control. The levels are rather easy but the game is hard to finish because you spend most of your energy fighting against the camera. This is why I put a thumb down because most people won't enjoy the game. Even though I did force myself to finish it, and found it better than a lot of indie games trying to be more professional than they can afford. The music is awfully repetitive and there is too much fog most of the time. But it's a pity that if the dev had fixed the camera problems and polished the game just a little bit more, it could have been a classic.
