In Coffee Quest VR you really step into the role of a barista, with all actions from making espresso to frothing milk very intuitively worked out. The atmosphere is cozy and the café looks nice and neat, but of course you have that in your own hands. The challenge of a morning rush feels realistic without being stressful. For the price it feels like a nice, airy VR outing with a nice coffee smell around. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Blgd8mQwTE
So i did get a refund, I'm hoping to get it in the future though. I would love for a "less chaotic" chill mode. The shop fills up FAST and even on casual mode, the pressure of a full shop still feels a bit overwhelming and doesn't match the casual idea in my opinion. Seeing all those customers in normal mode makes sense but it'd be nice to have the amount that appear in the casual mode cut in half or something for actual relaxing mode. It's still a bit chaotic even with no time limit.

A Brew-sing Good Time It's a surprisingly relaxing game. I didn't think the act of crafting my very own CUP 'O 'CHINO would feel so cozy and therapeutic but there's nothing I enjoy more than manual labor. There IS nothing better than producing a fresh order for the different customers in the store and it feels great to keep WATCHING your store grow and become more lively. 10/10 cured my depression and works great on my Quest 3
Fun overcooked like coffee shop game! I really like the mechanics for making coffee and drawing latte art and I like to experiment during casual mode. In addition to making coffee, you fulfill customer orders, make food, and cleanup the shop which is surprisingly fun. I especially like vacuuming the shop. Overall, a solid VR restaurant management game and I would recommend giving it a try.
Darf in keiner Bibliothek fehlen! I tested this game as a demo version during the Steam Next Fest 2024. I liked it right away. I was so hyped about the release of the game that I joined the developer's Discord and asked questions. You can tell that this is a solo dev who approaches the matter with a lot of love and passion. If there are problems or general concerns, he tries very hard to help as best he can. Big shoutout!! Today, on November 7th, 2024, the game was released as a full version and I bought it straight away. Now to the game itself: The graphics are very, very nice and well done. Everything fits together perfectly. The animations are buttery smooth and there are no problems with interactions with objects either. I particularly like the scope, because there is a huge selection of products to sell and the preparation is also very detailed and realistic. You can even activate and deactivate recipes and place orders via a computer. There are 3 tutorials and 2 game modes. Special attention should be paid to how big the game is. It doesn't even take up half a gigabyte. Unbelievable! The game promises more than the store page shows and for the price it is an absolutely great game. I recommend it to anyone who wants to be a barista and is generally looking for a great game for their headset. No library should be without it!
nice game that catch my eyes Dev Admin respond very fast good game
This is the ultimate Virtual Reality Barista Simulator. While it doesn't have any of the goofiness that these types of titles usually have, the more realistic approach turned out to be a lot more fun than i expected. Everything feels very smooth and on point. A very satisfying title that actually sort of simulates the real job of a barista to the fullest. They really caught darn near every detail. The only bug that i have encountered is that the game crashes when i enter pass through on Quest headsets (yes, all models). However, due to the games nifty auto save feature that doesn't seem to matter too much as when you relaunch the game it will just be an empty store again waiting for you to open and your money will be where it was before the crash. This title is a total gas on VR treadmills. Highly recommend.
Bought this game on a whim I ran into a few bugs with unlocking more recipes on the steam version but the developer is very responsive and fixed them, within the same day! I'm impressed. The game is pretty fun so far and I'm enjoying myself and it doesn't feel too repetitive. For me the main reason is replay factor and I can see myself playing this one for awhile. It's early access and I can see it having great potential.
Super fun!
I'll start by saying the mechanics are fun and the variation of drinks and prep methods are pretty neat. However I can't recommend the game currently for a few reasons. The main one is that this seems to be a very small game, with several reviews saying how great the devs are and how fast they respond. That being said, I posted the below questions/recommendations (at the end of this review) in the discussions page and the devs didn't even take the time to respond. Considering there are only 5 posts total since release in November and mine is the only one not responded to, I assume they just don't like any sort of suggestions/criticism, which doesn't bode well for the future of the game. The other big concern is that the game launched in early November and hasn't had a single update since, even though the devs have been saying in the discussions since release that there will be an update "in a couple of weeks." I get it that the Holidays are busy and game dev is complicated, but they aren't even putting out any news with a roadmap or anything on steam. The only way I even know the game isn't completely abandoned is that they keep saying in the discussions that the update will be coming soon. Most people won't go digging through the discussions and it would be much better if they were being clear about updates and timeline via steam's news feature. All that being said, I hope they do continue to update the game and that it grows and becomes much more robust. I won't refund the game in the hopes that it will be updated and get better and I'll continue to check in and update my recommendation accordingly. The following is what I posted in the discussions page: "Opening and closing shop? So in most games like this that I've played before (non-VR), the day always lasts a certain amount of time and there's a timer on screen somewhere. In this game it seems like the day just goes on forever until I close the shop. Is this correct or did I just not play the day long enough? In a way it's kind of neat to be able to just open and close the shop whenever but it's kind of unrealistic and takes away from the "challenge". It also makes it seems like there's less progression since you just play forever until you want to unlock new things, then close the shop, restock, clean, and start the day again. Personally, I like games that have a strong progression. Like day 1 is easy and the further you go the harder it gets and the more stuff unlocks. Also, games like cooking simulator have an overall star rating on the business which grows as you progress, giving you milestones and challenges that feel rewarding to obtain. If you don't have any progression besides money then it seems to get old rather fast. Are there any plans to update the game to add features similar to what I've mentioned above? The overall gameplay feels very good and I like the variation of recipes and preparation methods. I just feel like there's not much point in playing once you get enough money to unlock everything which doesn't take very long it seems. Either way, great start and I appreciate that the devs seem to respond and fix things quickly. Here's hoping the game keeps growing!"
