GAMEPLAY: This has the best gameplay of all time (I'm not even joking), far better than it's sister game Clone Drone In The Hyperdome. This is kind of similar to your average soulslike fighting style but it gives a unique twist of removing the hp bar entirely and making it so you can only die if your ACTUAL body takes mass harm. This means I can have a leg chopped off, get crippled, and still be standing, However decaptiations would be an instakill. If you think this is really brutal that you can die at any time from a single sword strike... You'd be right! However this brutality extends both ways, it is almost just as easy for enemies to die as it is for you. Moving on from that this game supplies gameplay for LITERALLY every party, you can stick with the normal roguelike "Endless Mode". Or move on to a multiplayer pvp, they even have a battle royale mode! STORY: I am a sucker for dystopian stories and this game just happens to have the goofiest dystopian story ever! This game's story is special because of how it's told. In story mode they give you zero context other than lines from the commentators to start you off. Throughout the chapters you learn about the robots and almost gain sympathy for them, after storymode some interesting lore questions raise. I mean I could spoil the story or you could just play for yourself so I can't say much more. COMMENTATRON AND ANALYSIS BOT: Yes the fan favorites get their own segment in this review, I LOVE THESE GUYS WITH BURNING PASSION. They are the life and soul of this game. They do an excellent job of hooking you in at the start with their wildly scuffed commentary on the blood sport their kind trapped you in. They always bring a smile to my face even when i've heard every single dialogue line they have made. In multiplayer it only gets better when they "face off" in Team Battles, coaching their teams (My favorite line is obviously the pizza motivation line, if you know you know". These guys are some of the best characters in fiction as far as I'm concerned. ART AND MUSIC The art is voxel art... I mean I love Voxelart so yeah! The music is like 60/100 for me, the music in endless mode is horrible but in later chapters of story mode it's got banger soundtrack, as well as in team battles and ESPECIALLY Last Bot Standing All in all, THIS GAME WILL NEVER DIE GO BUY IT!!!
I like it, It is very underrated!!
super fun game cool mechanics and a modarate skill level.
