This game would be 100% more fun in co-op
“A Rough Climb, Made Meaningful by Realism” Game Name: Climber: Sky Is the Limit Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟☆☆☆ (7/10) My Experience: ⛰️ While searching for climbing-focused games, I came across Climber: Sky Is the Limit. I added it to my wishlist and eventually picked it up during a sale. Going in, I already knew what to expect—I had watched videos and walkthroughs, and the slightly clunky movement was obvious even then. Still, my personal connection to climbing made me want to experience it for myself. That connection is what carried the game for me. Even when the controls felt rough, the core idea of a realistic climbing experience kept me engaged. Gameplay: 🧗♂️ The game can feel clunky at times, and that lack of polish shows during climbs. However, one thing it does well is forcing you to rely on actual climbing gear. The mountains themselves are based on real-life locations, which adds a sense of authenticity that’s rare in climbing games. Rather than feeling arcadey, the gameplay pushes you to think about preparation, tools, and route choice—elements that mirror real-world climbing more than most games attempt. Conclusion: 🎮 Climber: Sky Is the Limit has clear flaws, but its commitment to realism gives it value. It’s not a smooth or refined experience, yet for players with a genuine interest in climbing, it offers something meaningful. A decent climb with some rough edges, but still worth attempting. Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟☆☆☆ (7/10)
