An honest to god actual *completed* VN. That's a a rarity in a sea of abandoned projects. The game gets some points right off the bat just for that alone. This game is, functionally, cyberpunk with porn. And it is very good at both. The Writing is outstanding and quite frankly is perfectly in line with solid sci-fi novels. The atmosphere is well-crafted - you feel like you're there and the world is quite engrossing. All of the the game's characters feel distinct, with proper motivation, backstory, personality and character growth (Most notably Victoria if on the 'good' path) The music is appropriate, but can eventually get a bit repetitive. Visually, its stunning, all of the characters look absolutely gorgeous - the Dev has also come a *long* way from his previous game, graphics are absolutely drastically improved from that. This extends to the lewd scenes as well - The renders are well-done and the animations are quality, if a little bit on the short side. And there are an absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of scenes in the game (honestly to the point a couple of them get repetitive though). Some degrees of fetishes are also accounted for in this game, lots of rough and hardcore stuff so not just boring old vanilla. That isn't to say the game isn't without its flaws, however. First off is MC is masked. It's semi justified in terms of work attire, but feels like it was intended for self-insertion purposes and really the settings just does not feel appropriate to be doing self-insert into. There's also a couple story points that feel skipped over - In particular I feel a lot more could have been done with Gloria's relationship with her father and why he cracked. The evil route also feels thoroughly unsatisfying. MC has absolutely no agency in that route and is purely being strung along/manipulated with utterly zero characterization. For the record, the kind of 'evil' route that is well done is something like in Friends in Need, where the MC makes active choices with more explanation behind them and your see the character's thought process. The last issue is something common to many AVNS - suspension of disbelief is necessary at how quickly most chars simply throw themselves at the MC. Being a porn game understandably its kind of half the point, but it is still obvious and kind of jarring.
Didn't like it. The story didn't captivate me, and the dialogues were bland at best. Graphics are pretty decent but then the women all have comically large jugs. Don't recommend.
I bought it because it was an adult game, but got hooked on the story. I didn't want to tun off my computer to sleep. I buy some adult games and then skip through the story without even reading to get to the adult sections. Not this one. This is a story you don't want to skip through because it sucks you in. I ended up more interested in the story than the adult parts of this game. The adult parts are really good too.
This is a high quality AVN which you can tell from the start, it is pretty to look at from the main menu to the in-game renders (even walkthrough DLC is nice), though the animations in sex scenes are kind of weird and janky. Story and lore is good, nothing that blew my mind, but good enough to want to see it through to the end, you can tell that it is inspired by Blade Runner. Everything you say or do has consequences on how certain things play out in the story and a few different endings. Music library is top notch, once I finished the game I had to look up and listen to certain tracks. All the characters in game were ok, but to me the most interesting ones were Abby (my number one girl), Gloria, and Chandra.
Great story with believable characters. Good variety of paths. Excellent atmosphere. Beautiful models. Sexual encounters have decent variety, but animations lack flow and seem unnatural/stiff. Overall, the story keeps you engaged and is well written.
This needs a 'meh' option. It's not bad. I finished it. But there's really nothing special about it. The models are a bit over-inflated. I won't remember this game tomorrow.
One of the best AVNs that I've played. Great art, models, writing, and overall storyline. This is one of the few that keeps you invested because you want to know what happens in the story and with the characters, but the sex is a nice bonus. I love that I'm late to the party, because I actually got to play a finished game which is rare for these. My only complaint is having to pick a girl at the end. If you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ everything in sight throughout the game, it doesn't really make sense to act like you were searching for true love. 9/10
City of Broken Dreamers hooked me from the very first scene. The futuristic Los Angeles is incredibly well built, with that neon aesthetic that seems to have a life of its own. The atmosphere is dense in the right way, the kind of thing you feel more than you read. The characters are the highlight. They're gorgeous, sure, but what really stands out is how well written they are. Each one carries history and personality in a way that sticks with you, and I found myself revisiting scenes just to spend a little more time with them. The animations are fluid and work really well in the dramatic moments. And the soundtrack... at certain points I just stopped to listen. It fits the world in a way that feels inevitable. The one downside is the pacing: there are moments where the story slows down more than it should, and some player choices feel like they carry less weight than they seem to promise. Nothing that breaks the experience, but you can feel it. Overall, it's the kind of thing that reminds you why storytelling matters. Absolutely worth it.
Красивые модели, классные сцены. История наверняка интересная (не читал). 9/10
