Manga Release was 1985, the Anime released in 1987 and even a Live Action with Jackie Chan? (Found out there is even a “new” live action from 2024 released on Netflix!) People from germany know the character only from the Anime “Cats Eye – Ein Supertrio” what is placed in the same universe with City Hunter. ANYWAYS, enough “hey look iam a nerd” talk and lets go into the game. This Release is the Original PC Engine Version from back 1990 in 3 versions. The Original what Is complete untouched, the “remade” with some better enemy reactions and the Hard versions for the people who wants more difficulty (enemys got more life, do more dmg and the traps are faster). Its a classic 2D side-scroller game which story is connected to the first season of the anime. City Hunter was one of my childhood animes and I was never be able to play this game, but finally now I can do this and I enjoyed the game a lot. Big “Contra” from my side is that u need to walk back and forth to know where u need to go next what is the most annoying part in the last level, but its still a super fun game and even u little h-fans get some small lewd shots (nothing explicit, just the typical city hunter kind of erotic). As a Bonus u get a very beautiful gallery to click through and the soundtrack u can listen to in the main menue!
