About

One of 2022’s most acclaimed indies, the Game Awards-nominated Citizen Sleeper is a Tabletop-inspired narrative RPG set on Erlin’s Eye, a ruined space station that is home to thousands of people trying to survive on the edges of an interstellar capitalist society.
You are a sleeper, a digitised human consciousness in an artificial body, owned by a corporation that wants you back. Thrust amongst the unfamiliar and colourful inhabitants of the Eye, you need to build friendships, earn your keep, and navigate the factions of this strange metropolis, if you hope to survive to see the next cycle.

Inspired by Tabletop Roleplaying games, Citizen Sleeper uses Dice, Clocks and Drives to create a player-led experience, where you choose your path in a rich and responsive world. Each cycle you use the dice you are dealt to choose what to do with your time. Make or break alliances, uncover truths and escape your hunters. Survive and ultimately thrive, one cycle at a time, and sometimes against the clock!

The station plays host to characters from all walks of life, trying to eke out an existence among the stars. Salvagers, engineers, hackers, bartenders, street-food vendors, each has a history which brought them here. You choose which of them you wish to help, and together you will shape your future.

Eventually, you will learn to use your dice to hack into the station’s cloud to access decades of digital data, uncover new areas and unlock secrets. This is your unique power, and with it you can change your future. Corporate secrets, rogue AIs and troves of lost data await those willing to dive into the depths of the station’s networks.

Essen-Arp: to them you are just property, one more asset in a portfolio that stretches across the stars. You are the product of an abusive system, in a universe where humanity’s expansion is marked by exploitation and extraction. Escape the makers of your decaying body, and chart your own path in a richly imagined, deeply relevant sci-fi world which explores ideas of precarity, personhood and freedom.

Citizen Sleeper uses Dice, Clocks and Drives to create a player-led experience, where you choose your path in a rich and responsive world.

Each cycle you roll your dice. Assign them to vast range of actions available on the station. With every action, choose what, and who, matters to you, shaping the lives of those around you, and ultimately the future of the station.

Clocks track both your actions and the actions of others across the station. From becoming a local at the Overlook Bar to protecting a friend from Yatagan enforcers, clocks allow you to track your own progress and the influence you have on the world around you.

Follow drives not quests, allowing you to pick and choose the stories and activities that matter to you. As you do, you will shape your character's five skills (Engineer, Interface, Endure, Intuit and Engage), unlocking perks and bonuses that reflect and change how you choose to live in this world.

Citizen Sleeper now includes all three post-launch DLC episodes FLUX, REFUGE and PURGE, which expand the game and introduce additional characters and locations to Erlin’s Eye in an exciting new late game storyline.

one of the best games i've ever played honestly. it's got an amazing story with many choices big and small. the characters are each so unique and feel so fleshed out it their own ways. the art and music are both amazing to see and hear throughout the game. and the gameplay, despite its simplicity, is very unique and in a way addictive (maybe its just me). but yeah, please give this game and its sequel a try, it's so worth it

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

great 10/10
The game sets a great standard for cyberpunk sci-fi settings, and does what it sets out to do very well. If you ever want to run a cyberpunk TTRPG game, play this, and then buy MOTHERSHIP. The writing is, admittedly, not always perfect, but it never goes below "good". For the majority of the time, it's great. I was a bit annoyed with how limited the dialogue choices were, your PC often has their opinions and emotions predetermined, but beyond that, there's very few things to complain about here. The save system feels very strict, but for this game specifically, I believe it ends up working okay. The audio and visuals are fine, I don't feel strongly about them, but they fit the setting well. Ultimately, a great game to sink 3 or 4 long sessions into, and wonderful inspiration for anybody looking to do modern cyberpunk worldbuilding.

I've made terrible choices and I would do them all over again for Mina. She deserves a life better than this. Addition: I finished the DLC. I'm crying. I'm crying tears of utter joy and bittersweetness. It has been a while since a game has touched me like that.
Rest in Peace, Riko. Godspeed, Tala. Nothing but the best, Lem and Mina. The Gardener and the Navigator will guide the Eye now. Rest in Peace, Sleeper.
Amazing game, narrative, and characters!
Really well made game. The mechanics mirror narrative beats in a way that makes the whole experience extremely emotionally compelling 10/10. Took me a little over 7 hours to finish the base game, but there's also 3 dlc included!

You start knowing little to nothing, confused and seeking answers from the people around you who know what you are more than you do. Most of these people are indifferent to your being there, some are distrustful, some are outright hostile, but there are those that you meet along the way that show you warmth and kindness. What is a Sleeper? Can you belong? The impact you have on these people and on this small part of the world is so grand. The story of Citizen Sleeper is good, the reviews speak for themselves, it's a collection of short stories, all building up around you, the Sleeper, and what impact you wish to have on The Eye. Are all of these subplots perfect? Absolutely not. A few are amazing, most are quite enjoyable, and a handful are somewhat forgettable or just lacked an impact on me, but overall it's more than good. I considered myself someone who played games for the narrative, yet over the last few years as life went on, I lost the ability to concentrate and really appreciate a story. I fought the brainrot and the brainrot won, or so I thought. When I started Citizen Sleeper I did not know how dialogue heavy it was, I found the game in my library, saw it had a sequel, and figured "If it's good enough to get a sequel, I should give it a shot". I expect a short decision-driven story, and while the dialogue during the first hour or so did start losing me as my scattered mind wanted to go everywhere, I stuck with it, and I am glad I did. I finished the game not long ago so while my thoughts are fresh, they are not organized, this game deserves the time and attention of a detailed review but I can not give it that, as now I sit here stuck thinking of all the decisions I took and the ones I didn't. 8/10, the UI, navigation of The Eye took a while to get used to, and some stories didn't really have the conclusions they deserved, still an out of this world experience. I'd play it just for Lem & Mina, a game hasn't hit me like that in a while.
