I love blind jumps over instant-death pits, a complete lack of damage feedback, hitboxes that are twice as big as my character, weapons that feel like peashooters, tons of bland dialog to skip through, and enemies with so janky movement they're essentially unavoidable damage. But my favorite feature is the dedicated hotkey to mute the audio at any time - it elevates the game from "completely unbearable" to "inoffensive". The perfect rage game if you grew up playing free Flash games and want to relive that level of quality.

AREA2に到達したところまでのレビューです。 印象的なドット絵は、90年代のコンシューマ機のゲームというよりも、PCゲームを彷彿とさせます。 主人公はかわいいキャラクターですが、敵キャラは無機質で、そのコントラストが独特の雰囲気を演出しています。 色使いが独特で、丁寧に描かれており、ドット絵の多様な可能性を感じさせてくれます。 ドラムのサウンドにこだわりが感じられ、全体的にダークなイメージを演出しています。 難易度は高めですが、少し癖のある独特の操作感ながら、思い通りにコントロールできるのがこのゲームの特徴だと思います。 銃が自由に選択でき、弾丸が銃ごとに分かれているので、アイテムを集める楽しさもあります。 敵の弾丸の速度に緩急があり、敵キャラごとの特徴を把握する必要があるため、シンプルな操作ながらもプレイ中に考えることが多く、気が付くと何度もチャレンジしたくなります。 日本語には対応していませんが、シンプルな操作と単語で理解できるセリフのおかげで、特に問題はありませんでした。 少し気になった点としては、コンティニューにパスワードが必要なところです。 3桁か4桁くらいのパスワードなら、もう少しテンポよくプレイできそうです。 空中に停滞する敵やジャンプする敵が多いため、対処が難しいと感じました。 上下の撃ち分けやしゃがみ、スライディングのような上下を意識した動作が欲しくなりました。 ボスに攻撃を与えた時や自分が攻撃を受けた時の反応が薄いため、攻撃を与えているのか、受けているのかが少しわかりづらかったです。 全体的に丁寧に作られており、とても好感が持て、時間を忘れてプレイできます。 グラフィックやサウンド、ストーリー画面など、作者のこだわりが感じられ、 ゲーム動画を見て気になった方にはぜひおすすめしたい良作です。 This is a review up to the point where I reached AREA2. The pixel art is impressive and reminds me more of PC games rather than 90s console games. The main character is cute, but the enemy characters are inorganic, creating a unique contrast and atmosphere. The use of colors is unique and carefully done, showing the various possibilities of pixel art. The drum sound stands out, contributing to the overall dark image of the game. The difficulty is high. Although the controls have a bit of a unique feel, they are intuitive, making this a distinctive feature of the game. You can freely choose your guns, and bullets are categorized by gun, adding to the fun of collecting items. The varying speeds of the enemy bullets require you to understand each enemy's characteristics, making the simple controls still engaging and making you want to keep trying. The game does not support Japanese, but the simple controls and understandable dialogues made it no problem for me. One small concern is that continuing requires a password. If the password were three or four digits, the gameplay might be more seamless. There are many enemies that hover in the air or jump, making them difficult to deal with. I wished for more actions that consider vertical movements, like splitting shots up and down, crouching, or sliding. The reactions when attacking the boss or being attacked were subtle, making it a bit hard to tell if I was dealing or receiving damage. Overall, the game is carefully crafted, very enjoyable, and easy to get lost in playing. The graphics, sound, and story screens show the creator's dedication. I highly recommend this well-made game to those who were intrigued by the game videos.
