ITS JUST SO FUN

Really quite good. Very simple game this one, you drop onto a non linear level, get told to grab 4 cores and huff it to extract, all while shooting various enemies and doing cool tricks while shooting said various enemies. Although, in a departure from most similar games, rather than going for time you're going for points. Time still helps (adds up to a bonus) but speedrunning is more secondary. I prefer it that way personally. This is very nice but the real draw is how it's all wrapped up. Game looks utterly fantastic. Blocky, bold colors, cluttered HUD, all of that adds up to form a title which you will surely remember after you play it. It's not afraid to pull out all the stops, and I respect that. Screen turning into a mess of pixels be damned, this looks great! Negatives: it's pretty short (depending on your point of view, this might be a non-issue, for me it was a bit, since I paid the introductory offer and got around 3-4 hours of game, which for the regional price was good), and if you value a clear screen while shooting enemies this game is not for you (but I mean look at you girliepop, we both know you're not here for clarity). If you got spare cash and want to tear some flesh from bones, huge recommend.
