A̶L̶L̶ O̶F̶ I̶T̶ FROM BONE
A really good and quick, fast-paced FPS if you like speedrunning and want something similar to neon white. the game is short but very fun and movment is good.

Incredibly satisfying. Comparable to Ultrakill in only that you die a lot and my neck tenses up too much while playing. I'd compare it closer to Hotline Miami in the 'routing' department.
gud
Incredible bite sized game that oozes with style. The visual and audio feedback is simply perfect. The ost is magnificent and immerses you in this world flawlessly My only gripes with this game is the lack of a "mantle" or mechanic to grab a ledge when you barely make it; as well as a "story" jumpscare at then end that feels really out of place and out of style. The core gamep[ay is simply amazing though, it will make you want to replay it's levels over and over again until you're satisfied with your run. 4/5
baller video game, tailor made for a specific type of gay chud like me, good gameplay good vibes good everything the polygonal bunny ass and yuri subplot were a welcome surprise
Remember, it`s MARATHON, not a sprint.

her ass is so fat it makes me wanna kill myself.
Short review: This game is amazing, please play it if you like games like Neon White and the speedrunning/score chasing nature of those games. Long review: This isn't mainly a speedrun game, I just need to get that out of the way. This is mainly a score chasing arcade game. I LOOOOOOVE this game! I played through the game with a philosophy of getting a diamond on the current level before going to the next one, which made the game quite a bit longer than it would have otherwise. I don't regret doing that AT ALL! I loved experimenting and learning the score system, and it is a very satisfying thing to get down. The medal scores are actually pretty spot-on, with gold requiring either fast gameplay or a good score. If you want to get the diamond score(or god forbid the CCDA score), you usually need to do both. I love this system, and I think it's a very good innovation on this style of game. There are a ton of secrets, and the story isn't explicitly told to you, even when the game ends. The game emphasizes finding it for yourself and theorizing as you're going through the levels. Some people might not like that, but it really adds to the mystery of this game which was something that surprised me and rounded off the game's aesthetic for me. That's another thing, actually. This game's aesthetic is AMAZING, and it reminds me soooo much of the early 2000's internet electronic music era. I can definitely tell the developers are fans of The Designer's Republic, or at least are inspired by the artstyle that they employ(I think I saw some people call it "graphic realism"). I see a lot of comparisons to Marathon be made, which is fair because they very much do use the same visual language. CONS Some people might not like that the scores aren't entirely based on speed. There is no penalty for doing the same score bonuses over and over again. This means you can kill the same exact enemy with the same exact score bonuses every time and never get a penalty for it. The game tries to counteract this I think by making different enemy types damage you if you try and do specific score bonuses or kill methods, but it ultimately just leads to you never changing how you kill an enemy. Is this a thing that makes the game less fun? Not really, and frankly I kinda like the simplicity actually. However, it does make scores less about skill expression and more about routing. This can turn people away and it is a valid reason of doing so, but it never harmed my experience. The story being cryptic may not sit well with some people, which is totally understandable. The game is REALLY short if you aren't a score chaser. Like, 1-3 hours short I would say. I wish there was something that allowed you to see enemies that you missed if there's like less than 5 or something, also I wish there was an enemy counter during gameplay. I wish the crosshair hud had markers that indicate what functions they are the cooldowns for. OVERALL This is a great game for score chasers and arcade fanatics, and is an easy 8.5/10 for me. I would LOVE to see a level editor or DLC in the future.
