About
In Chyma and the Toll of Time, you'll play as the titular Chyma, a little bell trying to unravel the story of his people to save the planet. Chyma wields the power of the Rungback, allowing him to create a copy of himself that will follow his exact movements and actions. Using this ability, solve fun puzzles to ascend the temple, uncovering secrets and learning new powerful abilities along the way!
Using Chyma's special abilities, create a copy of yourself to help solve puzzles. Your copy – the Reverb – will follow your path, allowing you to be in two places at once!

As Chyma makes his way through the levels, he will discover special artifacts that can help him learn more about the history of the temple and the ones who lived there.

The temple is filled with all sorts of inventions, from guards to rolling balls to dangerous lasers. Chyma will have to learn to maneuver around and manipulate these obstacles in order to continue on his quest.

There's a meteor swiftly approaching, and the world is without a solution. Only Chyma is courageous enough to enter the mysterious temple to save his home.

Chyma and the Toll of Time features a dynamic sound system, meaning that the music in the level will change as you interact with the environment. One song can have dozens of variations depending on what obstacles are in each level and whether or not they are activated.

Chyma and the Toll of Time features five unique areas, each with several levels. In total, the game has over 30 levels and a few hours of puzzle-solving fun!

Banger little platformer. Plays well, good level progression, and an adorable art style. Great job!!! (Also, I played on keyboard. It was a bit finnicky in the more lengthy platforming sections, but otherwise felt fine.)
The puzzles are pretty cool and the difficulty amps up perfectly. The mc and the art style has a pleasant aesthetic. It's also very amusing to crush the enemies with the falling pillars. Overall, a fun experience that anyone can pick up and play.
Really cute game! Visually very fun to look at and walk through, puzzles always had all the pieces spelled out plainly and I had a lot of satisfying eureka moments for some of the later ones. The protagonists animations are adorable.

You play as some kind of blob, run back and forth, and solve boring puzzles—great game. Honestly feels like something that belongs on itch.io.
Haven't finished it yet, but it's pretty fun. I don't think I've seen a puzzle platformer just give you outright direct control over parts of the stage as an way to introduce more complexity to the puzzles. Not particularly hard... yet, anyway. But it's nice.
Super cool game!!! There are some questionable things like having super lacking keyboard support, no voice acting or motive to do the storybuilding, a lot of buggy stuff; but the art and music are incredible and it is quite fun to play. There are definetly a lot of cheesable mechanics and puzzles, but overall super cool.
Dunno why it said I had like 20 hours, more like 12-13 hours but who cares/count anyways .. I played it twice. First time with my niece, my niece (who's 11 years old btw), managed to do all of these easily. She had some problems during the final stages of the Final Act (called Final Ascent) but she managed to complete it. Overall it took her less than 2 hours. The second time, I did it by myself and I'm not very good at puzzle or platform games, but this one caught my interest. Instead of giving up like most puzzle games I've played, I decided to stay and tried my best to overcome all challenges. The Final Ascent one, for most of them, were really hard for me and it legit took me over two hours for that one single level. But I managed to do it eventually. Pros: -Its free -Easy to learn -Very easy to understand what each action (or ability) does -Puzzles are fun once you figure out how to do it -Most of the puzzles are not that challenging, but still require some thinking and brain power Meh: -The repetitive music can be very annoying but I just turned it off (its not a big deal) -Not much storytelling or lore, doesn't really give any meaningful purpose about the game other than being a platform puzzle game. Cons: -Its short I hope we can get a second Chyma game, maybe I can suggest like a lore behind it (maybe ?), like for example, Chyma's best friend named Chymii got stuck in a time loophole inside the ruins of an unknown temple and Chyma has to save him. Something like that. Overall I enjoyed it.
Not a bad game at all. My only complaint was the fixed camera angle occasionally made it difficult to work out what was happening. Also, there was one time when I died while running into a pilar that was raising, which made no sense. Other than that, 2hrs of game play, for free.
Entretenido!!!
