Christmas Fables: The Wishing Store Collector's Edition

Diejenigen, die süchtig nach Rätsel sind, kann ich dieses Spiel empfehlen, ansonsten rate ich jeden die Finger davon zu lassen, um Nerven zu schonen. Kein Spiel von Domini Games ltd hat mich so aggressiv gemacht, wie dieses und das will was heißen. Es hat alles schön angefangen und machte auch spaß, aber bis zur Mitte des Spiels+Bonus, ließ mein Blut kochen. Ich gebe ein paar Beispiele: Ein Baum versperrte den Weg, sodass ich eine Axt verwenden musste - Rätsel. Mit einer Häkelnadel ein Schloss knacken - Rätsel. Mit kochendem Wasser ein Eisblock zum schmelzen bringen, um die Gegenstände freizubekommen - Rätsel! Egal was ich noch alles machen musste, stieß ich auch Rätsel und das war bei keinem Spiel so heftig wie dieses hier. Daher hatte ich völlig entnervt und bewusst immer übersprungen, um das Spiel hinter mich zu bringen! Bei diesen Entscheidungsfragen wie ich gar nicht erst anfangen, da ich keinen Sinn sah, was diese Sterne für eine Funktion hatte und ich nicht frei antworten konnte. Für Rätselfreunde ein muss, aber sonst kann man es vergessen und hätte ich noch eine Möglichkeit es zu stornieren, dann würde ich es nutzen. Ich habe auch Domini Games ltd entfolgt, um von diesen keine Empfehlungen mehr zu bekommen - und selbst wenn die umsonst wären. Nope. Keine Chance.

Many, many of the puzzles were time-wasters/busy work. A lot of the tasks didn't make sense given the tools, etc. Annoying.

Sehr tolles Spiel, welches jetzt genau in die Weihnachtszeit passt.

100% Achievement review - This is going to be a hesitant thumbs up on this. On the one hand, this game launched with achievements that could not be completed at all that were linked to the bonus chapter, but their customer service was responsive, and after I put in a ticket for the bug they did release a patch 2 weeks later that fixed the achievements. The downside though, is that the achievement list is not clear. Usually, if there are achievements tied to a DLC, they will show up separate on 3rd party achievement sites like steam hunters. This game looks like it had a day 1 DLC that was required for 100% achievement, and if you don't have the DLC there are 3 spots in the game where the option to do the side story is grayed out, and you can't get the 'true' ending, only the middle of the road ending, and several achievements will be out of your reach. This alone is what makes me want to give this a thumbs down. Aside from that, the game itself was a fun Christmas themed hidden object adventure game. The plot was uninspired, the scrooge-like villain of the game literally being called 'Mr. Greedy' and you and Nicolas (Santa Claus without the red clothes) have to rekindle his love of Christmas. The hidden object scenes are well done, though a few of the puzzles were a little confusing. They do include an in-game strategy guide that tells you what to do if you get stuck, or you can use the in-game hint or skip system, and you can do match-3 game like bejeweled instead of hidden objects. The problem with the strategy guide, again, is it assumes you have the DLC already without telling you you need the DLC to get those scenes. Another level of confusion that didn't need to be there. There are also collectibles hidden in each scene along with an indicator of whether or not there is one in the current scene and another indicator on the map, which allows fast travel between scenes.

Soweit ok nur die Minispiele sind echt unlogisch, glaube die Entwickler spielen nicht mal ihre Spiele um sie zu testen, manches ergibt null Sinn ^^ Für 2,35 € im Sale kann ich mich nicht beklagen, den Vollpreis hätte ich niemals bezahlt, mehr als 5 Euro würde ich dafür auch niemals bezahlen weil manchmal funktionieren deren Spiele auch gar nicht, so wie das neue Weihnachtsspiel!
