[/h1] Сидел наш герой спокойно у себя дома, дела свои делал, как вдруг пришёл ему видеозвонок от очаровательной рыжеволосой подруги. «Бросай всё и приезжай...» – начала она, а он, не дослушав до конца, бросил и поехал. Лучше бы дослушал. На оговоренном островке его никто не ждал – только дыра в земле и разбросанные вещи. Спустившись глубоко в пещеры, он встретил эльфов верхом на гигантских шмелях, которые отбивались от бешеных неведомых зверей. Древо Мира, которое растёт в этих пещерах, чем-то заболело и теперь отравляет всё вокруг себя. Тут объявилась и милая рыженькая барышня и уговорила героя помочь эльфам. А спустя пару сюжетных поворотов она оставила его с эльфами, среди которых ни одной женщины и разумными ящерами. Возможно, я несколько утрировал сюжет, но от этой команды разработчиков многие истории балансируют на грани наркомании и детской наивности. Игровой процесс тут, как обычно, состоит из большого количества различных головоломок, большая часть из которых подходит под фэнтезийный колорит, сбор и использование найденных вещей и мини-игр по поиску предметов. В принципе, у этой студии всегда получаются схожие вещи и в плане игровой активности. Сложность головоломок варьируется от простой и понятной до «и как я должен был догадаться, что тут надо делать»? Каждую головоломку можно пропустить и, в большинстве случаев, увидеть правильное решение в ускоренном темпе. В мини-играх по поиску предметов работают подсказки. Эти мини-игры также есть несколько видов. То искать одинаковые предметы по списку, то парные, то найти отличия и так далее. Также в игре есть, как обычно, три вида коллекционных предметов. Два – для красоты, третий – своеобразная валюта, на которую покупаются предметы, чтобы обустроить комнату в главном меню. Отдельно стоит упомянуть очень красивые фоны, на которых нам предстоит искать предметы и решать головоломки. Музыка не запомнилась, но и не отвратила. Уже неплохо. Также надо, пожалуй, упомянуть и о дополнительных локациях. В первой главе её можно посетить, если выбрать соответствующую реплику в диалоге, а в остальных главах этот выбор заблокирован. Видимо, игра требует дополнения, чтобы посетить эти места. Также их посещение требуется для наилучшей из трёх концовок. And yet, some questions still remain: do these chosen Guardians really care about the life and sap of the Tree? Can they be trusted, do they really want to save Etheria? Purtroppo il gioco ha un sistema di scelte e conseguenze che non funziona affatto! La scelta in sè non ha alcun senso, perchè è chiaro che il giocatore sceglierà la risposta che dà in premio le stelline...peccato che le risposte decisive, che danno accesso a luoghi bonus da esplorare, sono bloccate! Risultano grigie e non si possono selezionare, per cui il gameplay è impossibile da svolgere completamente e l'esperienza di gioco viene rovinata da questi contenuti irraggiungibili. Il motivo è incomprensibile e consultando le guide online non c'è nessuna azione aggiuntiva da compiere per sbloccare la situazione. Ho visto dalle recensioni che lo stesso malfunzionamento è presente anche in altri titoli con la stessa meccanica. Peccato.
