Played On: HTC Vive
Chop and Drop puts you in the shoes of a powerline worker who has been tasked to remove some pesky trees before they take down the powerlines. The game offers two play modes: the regular game, which gives you an allotment of 4 minutes to perfectly remove 6 trees, and freeplay, where you can take your time removing said trees. You can make the utility bucket go in every direction, including up and down, and of course you'll be using a chainsaw to shred the trees to pieces. Each piece of the tree that is removed nets you points, but if you get any in your utility bucket, or if any pieces hit it at all, you receive a penalty to your earned points. For a title that was released over a year since VR initially came on to the scene, Chop and Drop could be a lot better. By this point, most gamers have seen better and more immersive gameplay. The title doesn't bring anything new to the table, and its cumbersome need for players to have an incredibly long reach may mean some seated and standing gamers will either knock over items, bump their walls, or even hit their monitors. While it isn't awful, and it does perform well in the optimization department, there are a lot better VR games to experience.
Rating: 2.0/5.0 - It's not awful, but it's not great.
The VR Network Curator | Group Click for More

Yeah just what I want in VR when I come home from work cutting trees from a cherry picker, more ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ work cutting trees from a cherry picker. Although it's a well done little free game and worth a play if you sit on your arse all day in an office.
An 8/10 Bucket Truck Simulator! The tree cutting gameplay is more streamlined than Farming Simulators and less finicky. Although it could be a little more realistic. 9/10. Needs more trees and DLC chainsaws! Honestly I have paid for games with less to do in them, so for a free game it at least makes an awesome VR demo for those VR skeptics!
Chop and Drop VR.
Played on Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers with no problems. The gameplay is kinda basic. You're cutting trees with a chainsaw and you're using a truck with a machine operated lift to get to where you need. This is a GREAT game for those who wanted to do manual labor all their lives but never liked going outside or working up a sweat. My life is complete now.
Alternatively, you can go psycho and chainsaw everything in sight, including yourself and see the screen turn red .... but you can't kill yourself and no blood afterwards :(
Rating 5/10 if they add more, would rate higher, but it's free and it works as intended
Cool free job simulator/trainer. It's a little cramped in a minimum roomscale with the default bucket placement in the center, and a lot of the action happening on half of the short axis of the room.
Sorunlu ağaçları temizleyen bir hat işçisinin işini üstlenin! Motorlu testerenizden çıkın ve kepçenizi her yöne hareket ettirmek için kontrol kollarınızı kullanın, ancak kafanıza dikkat edin!
Game worked well with the Rift-S, loud but that can be turned down. Maybe a 7.5/10. Good game idea needs some work.
